An acoustic generator according to an embodiment includes at least a plurality of piezoelectric elements (exciters) and a vibrating portion. The piezoelectric elements vibrate upon reception of input of an electric signal. The piezoelectric elements are attached to the vibrating portion. The piezoelectric elements are attached to the vibrating portion asymmetrically with respect to all the symmetry axes of a figure drawn by a contour of the vibrating portion when seen from the above.

There are provided an acoustic generator capable of generating a high-quality sound having little distortion, and an acoustic generation device and an electronic apparatus using the same. An acoustic generator has a vibration body, a first exciter, a second exciter, a first damping material and a second damping material. The vibration body has two surfaces which are positioned with a gap therebetween in a first direction. The first exciter and the second exciter are disposed on the vibration body. The first damping material is disposed on the vibration body and has a first portion which overlaps the first exciter when viewed in the first direction. The second damping material is disposed on the vibration body and has a second portion which overlaps the second exciter when viewed in the first direction.

The acoustic generator includes at least one pair of two adjacent portions with different stiffnesses in a plan view, and has at least one damper provided contacting with both of the two adjacent portions.

An acoustic generator according to one embodiment includes a piezoelectric element (exciter), a vibrating portion, and a plurality of dampers. The piezoelectric element receives an input of an electrical signal and is caused to vibrate. The piezoelectric element is mounted on the vibrating portion, and the vibrating portion is caused to vibrate by the vibration of the piezoelectric element. The dampers are integrated with the vibrating portion. The dampers are asymmetrically provided with respect to an axis of symmetry of a shape delineated by the outline of the vibrating portion, in a plan view of the vibrating portion from a side on which the piezoelectric element is mounted.

An acoustic generator according to an aspect of an embodiment includes a frame, a vibration body, and a piezoelectric vibration element. The vibration body is provided at an inner side of the frame. The piezoelectric vibration element is provided on the vibration body. The vibration body has a configuration in which a thin plate-like first portion and a thin plate-like second portion having different elastic moduli are laminated.

The problem is to reduce variations of sound pressure in the sound pressure frequency characteristics. To solve the problem, an acoustic generator includes a film that is a supporting plate; a frame member that is provided on the outer circumference of the film; a piezoelectric element that is provided on the film within a frame of the frame member; and a resin layer that is provided on the film within the frame of the frame member, and the resin layer including an air bubble. By the air bubble, a decrease in the sound pressure is prevented, peaks and dips in the frequency characteristics of sound pressure are reduced, and high-quality sounds are generated.

Provided is an acoustic generator which has a high sound pressure at ultrahigh frequencies and which can suppress occurrence of large peak dips. An acoustic generator includes a film, a frame member disposed on an outer peripheral edge of the film, a piezoelectric element disposed on the film and inside the frame member, and a resin layer filled inside the frame member so as to cover the piezoelectric element.

A sound generator and a sound-generating apparatus using the same are provided, wherein the sound generator includes at least a vibration plate, and a plurality of piezoelectric elements attached to the vibration plate so as to be spaced from each other to cause the vibration plate to vibrate. The plurality of piezoelectric elements includes piezoelectric elements having at least two different thicknesses. The piezoelectric elements having at least two different thicknesses are disposed in two directions that cross each other in a main surface of the vibration plate. Accordingly, it is possible to achieve a sound generator, as well as a sound-generating apparatus which have less peaks and dips in sound-pressure frequency characteristics.

The resonator group is composed of at least one of one or more quarter-wavelength resonators and one or more half-wavelength resonators. The resonator group of at least one of the first bandpass filter and the second bandpass filter includes both one or more quarter-wavelength resonators and one or more half-wavelength resonators.

A bandpass filter for a wide frequency band such as UWB is disclosed. The bandpass filter comprises a laminate of a plurality of dielectric layers, a first ground electrode connected to a ground potential, a plurality of resonant electrodes in a first inter-layer and a plurality of coupling electrodes in a second inter-layer. A transmission characteristic of the bandpass filter having flat and low loss over the entire region of the broad pass band can be achieved.
