A computer includes: a memristor array including memristors arranged at intersections between word lines and a first bit line in the memristor array and at intersections between the word lines and second bit lines in the memristor array; an adder circuit configured to obtain sum voltages for the second bit lines by adding first voltages generated according to currents that flow in the second bit lines when a first pattern is supplied to the word lines to difference voltages between a reference voltage generated according to a current that flows in the first bit line when a second pattern is supplied to the word lines and second voltages generated according to currents that flow in the second bit lines when a second pattern is supplied to the word lines; and a detection circuit that detects a second bit line that corresponds to a maximum value of the sum voltages.

A power supply switching apparatus includes a controller and a switch. The controller includes a first comparator, an integrator circuit and a second comparator. The first comparator is configured to output a binary signal having a level corresponding to a magnitude of a signal input from the power supply being connected thereto. The integrator circuit is configured to integrate an output from the first comparator. The second comparator is configured to output a binary signal having a level corresponding to a magnitude of a single input from the integrator circuit. The switch has an input side connected to the first and the second power supply and is configured to switch an outputting current between a current supplied from the first power supply and a current supplied from the second power supply in accordance with a value of the signal output from the second comparator.

A carbon nanotube composite material contains a carbon nanotube and a continuous layer of a metal covering the inner surface of the carbon nanotube. It is produced by forming a metallic matrix layer and treating the metallic matrix layer to form plural nanoholes in the metallic matrix layer to thereby form a nanohole structure, the nanoholes extending in a direction substantially perpendicular to the plane of the metallic matrix layer; forming carbon nanotubes inside the nanoholes; and covering inner surfaces of the carbon nanotubes with a continuous layer of a metal. It has a well controlled small size, has excellent and uniform physical properties, is resistant to oxidation of the metal with time, is highly chemically stable, has good durability enabling repetitive use, has good coatability, high wettability and dispersibility with other materials, is easily chemically modified, is easily handled and is useful in various fields.
