An automatic water faucet apparatus includes a faucet, a detection unit, a hot water storage tank, a first ultraviolet irradiation unit, a display unit, and a control unit. The hot water storage tank heats water supplied to a water supply channel by using a heater, which is not illustrated, and stores hot water. The hot water storage tank is provided inside the faucet and heats water supplied to a second water supply channel. The first ultraviolet irradiation unit disinfects (sterilizes) the hot water stored in the hot water storage tank by irradiating the hot water with ultraviolet rays. The first ultraviolet irradiation unit includes an ultraviolet lamp disposed inside the hot water storage tank, and irradiation of ultraviolet rays to the hot water stored in the hot water storage tank and stop of the irradiation are controlled by the control unit.

Automatic water faucet apparatus

An automatic faucet device includes one of a first detection unit, a second detection unit, and a third detection unit selected as a detection unit and attached to a detection unit attachment portion. An aircraft water supply system supplies water to a water discharge port in an aircraft. A cold water flow path supplies cold water to the water discharge port. A hot water flow path supplies hot water to the water discharge port. A first control valve adjusts the flow rate of cold water flowing through the cold water flow path. A second control valve adjusts the flow rate of hot water flowing through the hot water flow path. A temperature sensor detects the water temperature at any point up to the water discharge port. A flow control unit controls the opening/closing state of the first control valve and the second control valve based on the water temperature detected by the temperature sensor.

A foot pedal, which swings a waste flap from a closed position to an opened position, is disposed near a section on a floor of an aircraft lavatory unit directly below a waste compartment. A flow control unit controls the opening/closing state of the first control valve and the second control valve based on the water temperature detected by the flow sensor so that the amount of the water discharged from the water discharge port reaches a predetermined target flow rate.

A lavatory unit for a vehicle is provided for washing feet. A toilet seat is put in the use position, a lid is put in the open position, the lid and a water drainage plate coupled by an engage/disengage mechanism are disengaged, and the water drainage plate is rotated to the placed position. With pressure on the water drainage plate, water is discharged from a faucet for a predetermined time by a water control unit, and the foot is washed on the water drainage plate. The water is drained to the inside of a toilet body through a discharge port. Once the foot is washed, the water on the upper surface of the water drainage plate is wiped, the water drainage plate is rotated from the placed position to the open position of the lid, or the lid is rotated to the closed position.
