A case with a partitioning member in which the welding between a case and a cover and between the case and the partitioning member can be confirmed by an airtightness test. The case with a partitioning member includes a cover and a partitioning member held between the case and the cover. On the inside of a first welding portion in which the case and cover are welded to each other, a second welding portion in which the case and partitioning member are welded to each other is provided, and on the inside of the second welding portion, a third welding portion in which the case and the partitioning member are welded to each other is provided. Holes open to the atmosphere are provided in the case between second and third welding portions.

The fuel supplying apparatus includes a reservoir to be inserted from an opening portion provided in an upper portion of a fuel tank, a tank cover for closing the opening portion of the fuel tank, and a coupling mechanism for coupling the reservoir and the fuel tank with each other so as to be mutually displaceable. The coupling mechanism includes a pivot for rotatably supporting the reservoir and a supporting member for supporting the pivot so that the pivot can be movable in an upper and lower direction of the fuel tank relative to the tank cover.

Fuel supplying apparatus

A fuel supplying apparatus includes a reservoir to be inserted from an opening portion provided in an upper portion of a fuel tank, a tank cover for closing the opening portion of the fuel tank, and a coupling mechanism for coupling the reservoir and the fuel tank with each other so as to be mutually displaceable. The coupling mechanism includes a retainer member rotatably connected to the reservoir through a predetermined pivot, and at least one coupling member for coupling the retainer member and the tank cover with each other so that the pivot can be moved in a vertical direction of the fuel tank relative to the tank cover.

A filter assembly comprises a filter case having an opening end portion; a filter element inserted into the filter case; a set plate mounted to the opening end portion of the filter case and having an inlet and an outlet of fluid to be filtered; and a seal plate attached to the set plate and fixed to the opening end portion of the filter case by curling up an outer periphery portion thereof together with an edge portion of the opening end portion of the filter case. The set plate is mounted to the filter case with press fitting to ensure the mechanical contact to prevent the leakage of the fluid to be filtered. Thus, the filer assembly can effectively prevent leakage of fluid of high pressure, such as AT-fluid introduced therein.

Filter assembly and process for producing the same

A fuel supplying apparatus includes a reservoir to be inserted from an opening portion provided in an upper portion of a fuel tank, a tank cover for closing the opening portion of the fuel tank, and a coupling mechanism for coupling the reservoir and the fuel tank with each other so as to be mutually displaceable. The coupling mechanism comprises a retainer member rotatably connected to the reservoir through a predetermined pivot, and at least one coupling member for coupling the retainer member and the tank cover with each other so that the pivot can be moved in a vertical direction of the fuel tank relative to the tank cover.

A filter includes a case, filtering material housed within the case, a cover which covers the open end of the case and is non-rotatable relative to the case, and an annular fastener clamping the cover to the case. The case includes a large-diameter portion at an open end of the case, the large-diameter portion including a convexity forming an engagement tab. The cover has a concavity into which the convexity is received to prevent the cover from rotating relative to the case. Moreover, the cover includes a screw thread on the outer periphery thereof. The annular fastener has a screw thread on the inner periphery thereof mated with the screw thread on the outer periphery of the cover. On the other hand, the annular fastener has a small-diameter portion engaged with the large-diameter portion of the case by which engagement and mating of the screw threads the annular fastener secures the cover to the case. By preventing relative rotation between the cover and the case, the filter can be easily installed by being screwed onto a threaded member of an automotive engine or the like.
