A medical apparatus includes a treatment device configured to be capable of treating a subject by applying energy to the subject, an optical fiber including a light emitting face for emitting light into the subject, the optical fiber being connected to the treatment device, and a shield portion that is disposed in front of the light emitting face of the optical fiber, the shield portion being configured to expose the light emitting face when the treatment device does not perform a treatment operation and to shield the light emitting face when the treatment device performs the treatment operation.

Medical apparatus

An optical deflector includes a magnet unit, which generates a magnetic field, and a movable plate unit, which is placed in the magnetic field. The movable plate unit has an inner movable plate having a reflecting surface, an outer movable plate, two inner torsion bars connecting the inner and outer movable plates, a support located outside the outer movable plate, and two outer torsion bars connecting the outer movable plate and support. The movable plate unit has two inner drive wiring portions that extend along by a periphery of the inner movable plate. The magnet unit includes magnets, two adjacent magnets of which are opposite in magnetic polarity direction. The inner drive wiring portions extend almost parallel to boundaries between the two adjacent magnets and are respectively located substantially immediately above the boundaries. Currents of the same direction are applied to the two inner drive wiring portions.

Optical deflector

An optical deflector array has a first board, second board, and magnetic field generator. The first board has movable plates respectively having reflecting surfaces, wirings passing through the respective movable plates, and first connecting portions provided at the two ends of the each wiring. The second board has second connecting portions electrically connected to the first connecting portions of the first board, third connecting portions for external electrical connection, and connecting wirings electrically connecting the second connecting portions and the third connecting portions. The optical deflector array further has connecting members that electrically connect the first connecting portions of the first board to the second connecting portions of the second board.

Optical deflector array

An optical deflector includes a magnet unit and a movable plate unit. The movable plate unit has an inner movable plate having a reflecting surface, an outer movable plate, two inner torsion bars connecting the inner and outer movable plates, a support located outside the outer movable plate, and two outer torsion bars connecting the outer movable plate and support. The movable plate unit has two inner wirings, each of which has an inner drive wiring portion that extends along by a periphery of the inner movable plate and two inner extracted wiring portions extending from two ends of the inner drive wiring portion. The two inner drive wiring portions are located substantially line-symmetrically with respect to the first axis. The two inner extracted wiring portions are located substantially line-symmetrically with respect to the second axis. Currents of the same direction are applied to the two inner drive wiring portions.

A two-dimensional optical deflector includes a first deflector, which deflects a light beam about a first axis at a high speed, a second deflector, which deflects a light beam about a second axis perpendicular to the first axis at a low speed, and a fixing mechanism, which fixes the first deflector to the second deflector. The second deflector includes a rotation shaft capable of rocking about the second axis. The fixing mechanism includes a fixing member having a rotation shaft fixing hole, which engages with the rotation shaft with almost no space, and a fastener, which decreases the diameter of the rotation shaft fixing hole of the fixing member. The fixing member includes a first deflector mount surface. The first deflector is fixed to the fixing member so that a reflecting surface of the first deflector in a non-actuation state is almost parallel to the first deflector mount surface.

Two-dimensional optical deflector

A light deflector comprises a first movable plate having a reflective surface, fixing portions, a pair of second movable plates located between the first movable plate and the fixing portions, a pair of first elastic members supporting the first movable plate so as to allow it to oscillate with respect to the second movable plates, a pair of second elastic members supporting the second movable plates so as to allow them to oscillate with respect to the fixing portions, and an actuator to oscillate the first movable plate. Oscillation axis of the first elastic members and oscillation axis of the second elastic members are located on the same axis. Stiffness of the second elastic members against oscillation is lower than stiffness of the first elastic members against oscillation.

Light deflector

There is disclosed a mirror rocking member for an optical deflector. The optical deflector comprises the mirror rocking member for deflecting light, and a driver for driving the member. The mirror rocking member comprises a movable plate having a reflective surface, an elastic member for rockably supporting the movable plate, and a support for supporting the elastic member. The movable plate has an electric element, which constitutes a part of the driver. The movable plate includes a first portion having the reflective surface, and a second portion including an electric element. The first portion has a reflective-surface forming surface with the reflective surface formed thereon, the second portion has an electric-element forming surface with the electric element formed thereon, and the reflective-surface forming surface has an area smaller than an area of the electric-element forming surface.

Mirror rocking member for optical deflector

In an optical monitor for monitoring signal lights from a plurality of optical fibers, emission surfaces of the plurality of optical fibers are arranged along a straight line, and a photodetecting surface of a photodetecting element disposed so as to face the emission surfaces is moved in parallel to the straight line along which the emission surfaces are arranged in such manner that light from each of the emission surfaces is received by the photodetecting element, so that the plurality of signal lights are made incident on the photodetecting element successively. The present optical monitor thereby is capable of monitoring a large number of transmission paths while requiring a small number of components.

Manufacturing method of a semiconductor substrate provided with a through hole electrode

The present invention is directed to a photoconductive switch module. The photoconductive switch module comprises a first substrate having light-emitting elements, and a second substrate having photoconductive switch elements, whose number is equal to that of the light-emitting elements. The light-emitting elements face the photoconductive switch elements, so that the photoconductive switch elements are turned on/off in accordance with lighting/extinction of the light-emitting elements. The photoconductive switch module further comprises a third substrate arranged between the first substrate and the second substrate. The third substrate has through holes, whose number is equal to that of the light-emitting elements. Each through hole is positioned between a light-emitting element and a photoconductive switch element facing each other. Drive light emitted from each light-emitting element travels to the photoconductive switch element via the through hole.

Photoconductive switch module

A two-dimensional driving actuator comprises a flat spring structure, and a driver for driving the flat spring structure. The flat spring structure includes a moving plate, a moving inner frame surrounding the moving plate, first torsion bars coupling the moving plate and the moving inner frame so as to allow the moving plate to be vibrated relative to the moving inner frame, a fixed outer frame surrounding the moving inner frame, and second torsion bars coupling the moving inner frame and the fixed outer frame so as to allow the moving inner frame to be vibrated relative to the fixed outer frame. The flat spring structure is manufactured from a single semiconductor substrate. The first and second torsion bars are made of different materials.

Actuator

There is disclosed an optical deflector comprising a mirror structure having a first and second surfaces in a front/back relation, single plate base for holding the mirror structure, and a driver for driving the mirror structure. The mirror structure comprises a pair of supports, a movable plate, and a pair of elastic members for connecting the movable plate and the supports, such that the movable plate is able to rock with respect to the supports. The movable plate has a mirror surface on the second surface. The base has an opening for exposing the mirror surface. The supports of the mirror structure are fixed to the base with the second surfaces of the supports in contact therewith. The driver includes a conductive element formed on the first surface of the movable plate, and magnetic field generating elements fixed on the base.

A drive apparatus for an electromagnetic drive type actuator, which includes a movable element, a fixed element, a connection element, a magnetic field generation element, and a drive coil, such that the movable element is caused to oscillate by an interaction between a current flowing through the drive coil and a magnetic field generated by the magnetic field generation element, comprises a drive signal supply element, which supplies to the drive coil a current signal with a periodic waveform that has a frequency substantially equal to a resonance frequency of the movable element and whose current value is zero in a fixed period in one cycle, and an oscillation detection element, which detects an oscillation state based on a timing of a zero-cross point of a voltage waveform between both ends of the drive coil in a period corresponding to the period in which the current value is zero.

Drive apparatus and drive method for electromagnetic drive actuator

The present invention relates to an actuator drive apparatus capable of eliminating the influence of the mutual induction effect of a drive coil and a detection coil with a simple structure. That is, the present invention is an actuator drive apparatus capable of causing a movement of the drive coil of a scanner by applying an electric current thereto, and generating and maintaining the resonance state by feeding back an output signal of the detection coil at that moment. In particular, the present invention uses a rectangular wave as the drive signal and includes an LPF for eliminating a specific high frequency component of an output signal of the detection coil.
