A vehicle lamp includes a first light source configured to emit light in a direction along a vertical direction; a first reflector having a first reflective surface that allows a portion of the light emitted from the first light source to be reflected forward; a second reflector having a pair of second reflective surfaces that allow light traveling without being reflected by the first reflective surface to be reflected leftward and rightward; a third reflector having a pair of third reflective surfaces that allow light reflected by the second reflective surfaces to be reflected forward; and a first lens that allows light reflected by the first reflective surface and light reflected by the pair of third reflective surfaces to exit forward through an exit surface. A maximum length of the first lens in the vertical direction is smaller than a maximum length of the first lens in a left-right direction.

An image display device includes: a first display device configured to output a first image representing an operation part for an apparatus; an imaging element configured to reflect the first image and to form the first image in mid-air as a mid-air image; a first sensor configured to detect an approach of a detection object to the mid-air image and to output a first signal; and a controller configured to output a second signal to the apparatus based on the first signal.

Image display device

A lighting module includes: a substrate; a light source located on the substrate; a first lens on which light emitted from the light source is to be incident; and a first holder to which the substrate and the first lens are fixed. Light exiting the first lens is substantially parallel light that is substantially parallel to the optical axis when viewed from a first direction intersecting an optical axis of the light source. The light exiting the first lens is substantially parallel light oblique to the optical axis when viewed from a second direction intersecting the optical axis and the first direction. A first end part of the first lens in the second direction is fixed to the first holder. When viewed from a third direction in which the optical axis extends, the first holder does not protrude outward of the first lens in the second direction.

Lighting module and lighting device

A lighting device includes a light source, a lens receiving light from the light source, and a reflector including multiple first reflecting regions, wherein each first reflecting region reflects light from the lens in a first direction crossing an optical axis of light incident on the lens. The first reflecting regions are arranged with steps interposed therebetween so that the regions further toward a light-emitting side of the reflector in the first direction have greater distances from the lens in a second direction in which the optical axis extends. A light distribution angle of light from a first part of the lens further toward the light-emitting side than the optical axis in the first direction is less than a light distribution angle of light from a second part of the lens further toward a side opposite to the light-emitting side than the optical axis in the first direction.

Lighting device and three-dimensional video display device

A light emitting device includes: a substrate; a light emitting element; a wavelength conversion layer; and a wall surrounding the wavelength conversion layer, having an opening portion exposing at least a part of a top surface of the wavelength conversion layer, and containing a light reflective material. The surface of the wall includes a top surface provided at a higher position than the top surface of the wavelength conversion layer, and an inner surface forming the opening portion. The wall includes a first portion surrounding the wavelength conversion layer, and a second portion provided over the first portion and surrounding the first portion. The opening portion is hollow. An angle of a corner portion between the top surface and the inner surface of the wall is in a range of 90 degrees or greater and less than 180 degrees.

Light emitting device and method of manufacturing light emitting device

A lighting device that includes a light source, a first optical element configured to convert light emitted from the light source into substantially parallel light, and a plurality of second optical elements arranged in a first direction. Each of the plurality of second optical elements has a light incident surface. Each of the plurality of second optical elements guides at least a portion of the substantially parallel light incident on the light incident surface in a second direction intersecting the first direction and guides another portion in the first direction.

Lighting device and display

A lighting device includes: a light source having a light-emitting surface; a reflector having a reflective surface configured to reflect light emitted from the light source; and a lens on which light reflected by the reflective surface is incident. The reflective surface is composed of a portion of a spheroidal surface that includes a first focal point located on the light-emitting surface and a second focal point located between the reflective surface and the lens. The reflective surface intersects a major axis of the spheroidal surface. A value obtained by dividing a first distance, which is a distance between the first focal point and the second focal point, by a second distance, which is a distance between the first focal point and an intersection point of the reflective surface and the major axis, is 7 or greater.

A lighting device includes: a light emission part; a reflector disposed above the light emission part and configured to reflect a first portion of light emitted from the light emission part; a first lens having a first incident face through which light reflected by the reflector enters; a second lens disposed higher than the first lens, and having a second incident face through which a second portion of the light emitted from the light emission part enters, wherein the second incident face is father than the first incident face from the light emission part; a first light shielding member disposed between the first lens and the second lens; a second light shielding member between the light emission part and the first lens; a third light shielding member between the light emission part and the second lens; and an actuator configured to move the second and third light shielding members.

A method of manufacturing a light emitting device includes: bonding a wavelength conversion sheet containing phosphor particles onto upper surfaces of light emitting elements mounted on a substrate; dividing the wavelength conversion sheet into a plurality of wavelength conversion members, each corresponding to one of the light emitting elements, by cutting from an upper surface of the wavelength conversion sheet; forming light reflecting members between adjacent ones of the wavelength conversion members to reflect light emitted from the light emitting elements; and machining an upper surface of a collective body including the wavelength conversion members and the light reflecting members into a curved surface having a concave shape.

Method of manufacturing light emitting device

A light emitting device includes: a substrate; a plurality of light emitting elements mounted on the substrate; a plurality of wavelength conversion members, each containing phosphor particles and being disposed on a respective one of the light emitting elements; and a plurality of light reflecting members disposed between adjacent ones of the wavelength conversion members to reflect light emitted from the light emitting elements. The wavelength conversion members and the light reflecting members are included in a collective body that has a curved upper surface having a concave shape.

Light emitting device

A light-emitting module includes a light source unit including light-emitting elements horizontally aligned; a projection lens receiving light emitted from the light source unit, and projecting the light through a light exiting surface of the projection lens in a radiation direction; and a frame body holding the light source unit and the projection lens at predetermined positions. The projection lens comprise a first and second lenses each having the same focal length and curvature, and being disposed adjacently in a vertical direction or as an integrated body. A vertical division ratio of lower one of the first and second lenses to the other one is larger than 1. Optical axes of the first and second lenses differ in the vertical direction. A value in the vertical direction of a horizontal-to-vertical ratio for a light-emitting area of light-emitting elements is smaller than a value in the horizontal direction of a horizontal-to-vertical ratio for the light projected from the projection lens.

Light-emitting module and vehicle lamp

A light emitting device is provided. The light emitting device includes a substrate and a plurality of light emitting elements. The light emitting elements are electrically connected on the substrate, each having a light emitting surface. A light-transmissive member is arranged on the light emitting elements and a light-reflective member covers a lateral surface of the light emitting elements and a lateral surface of the light-transmissive member. The plurality of light emitting elements include a plurality of first light emitting elements and a second light emitting element that has an area of the light emitting surface smaller than that of each of the first light emitting elements. The second light emitting element is arranged between the first light emitting elements.

A lighting unit includes a board on which a light emitting portion having a semiconductor light emitting device is arrayed on an upper side along the longitudinal direction. The lighting unit also includes a reflector which is disposed on the upper side of the board, and has a reflection portion inside the reflector for reflecting a light from the light emitting portion, as well as covering the light emitting portion. The lighting unit further includes a case disposed so as to support the board and the reflector from the top and the bottom.

A light emitting device has a plurality of light emitting elements, a heat spreading member on which the plurality of light emitting elements are mounted, and having a bottom face, an insulating member having a recess that includes side walls and a bottom wall, a top face of the bottom wall being in contact with the bottom face of the heat spreading member, and a circuit board having a circuit that is provided on the heat spreading member and supplies power to the plurality of light emitting elements.
