First to sixth annular projections and first to sixth annular recesses, which have shapes corresponding to shapes of first to sixth conventional seal members, are formed respectively at portions at which various types of blocks and first and second intermediate plates are joined, by performing resin molding with molds. A method of and a system for electrically processing vacuum pressure information, which is suitable for use in a vacuum unit. Pressure values are detected and a desired pressure value lower than the highest vacuum pressure value of the detected pressure values is displayed on a displaying device in digital form. The desired pressure value is stored in a storing device. Each of pressure values relative to vacuum, which are detected by a pressure detecting element held in front of a passage communicating with a vacuum port, is converted into a digital signal. The so-converted digital signal is digitally displayed on the displaying device. The desired pressure value stored in the storing device is compared with each of the detected pressure values relative to the vacuum, and information about faulty points is displayed on the displaying device based on the result of comparison.

Method of and system for electrically processing vacuum pressure

A fluid pressure device having a fluid unit suitable for use as a vacuum generating unit formed by connecting together a plurality of blocks having different functions, the fluid unit being connected to an external device. The fluid pressure device includes a plug-in/one-touch type electric signal connecting unit for collectively mounting a plurality of terminals in a wall surface of the fluid unit, to electrically connect the plurality of blocks to the external device. The terminals are connected to the external device by a single multi-connector means, and a plug-in/one-touch type fluid passage connecting unit, for collectively providing connecting portions within the wall surface of the fluid unit, to interconnect the external device and fluid passages defined in the fluid unit. The fluid passages are connected to the external device by a plurality of cylindrical insertion members which are inserted into the connecting portions.

Fluid pressure device

In a vacuum unit which can electrically process information, a vacuum pressure value is detected by a detecting device and a desired pressure value is set by a setting device. The so-set desired pressure value is digitally displayed on a displaying device and stored in a storing device. The set desired pressure value is compared with the detected vacuum pressure value by a determining device. When the result of comparison is brought to a given value, it is determined that an unusual or improper state has been developed. When the set desired pressure value and the detected vacuum pressure value coincide with each other in a predetermined range, a predetermined signal is produced from an output device. The displaying device is provided with an adjusting device capable of adjusting the state of visual recognition of each pressure value.

Pressure information processing system suitable for use in a vacuum unit

Disclosed herein is a vacuum feeding apparatus for causing a working device such as a suction pad to communicate with a vacuum port so as to enable the working device to attract and hold a work or feed it to a desired position. In the vacuum feeding apparatus, components such as a valve section, a vacuum section, a filter section, a pressure detecting section, a manifold section, etc. are produced in blocks or units respectively. These blocks indicative of the above components can selectively be used in combination. In addition, a plate mounted on a corresponding block can be used to selectively make the changeover of any one of a plurality of fluid passages defined in the block and to cut off the selected passage.
