There is provided a heat resistant ferritic steel including a base material including, by mass percent, C: 0.01 to 0.3%, Si: 0.01 to 2%, Mn: 0.01 to 2%, P: at most 0.10%, S: at most 0.03%, Cr: 7.5 to 14.0%, sol.Al: at most 0.3%, and N: 0.005 to 0.15%, the balance being Fe and impurities, and an oxide film that is formed on the base material and contains 25 to 97% of Fe and 3 to 75% of Cr. This heat resistant ferritic steel is excellent in photoselective absorptivity and oxidation resistance.

There is provided a highly safe steam oven capable of controlling the amount of steam generated appropriately. Water dripped from a water feeder to the inside of a cooking chamber is converted into steam by a heater in the cooking chamber. The thus generated steam in the cooking chamber is discharged through a steam channel which keeps the inside of the cooking chamber connected to the outside of the steam oven. The temperature of steam passing through the steam channel is measured by a steam temperature measuring device. The amount of water fed from the water feeder is controlled in response to the measured temperature.

The driven unit assembly includes a switch actuating member, a bracket for supporting the switch actuating member, and a biasing member arranged between the mounting bracket and the switch. The biasing member applies a bias force for driving the switch actuating member against the direction for generating the detection signal. The drive member is positioned facing the switch actuating member when the functional component is in its normal position so that the drive member provides a force to move the switch against the biasing force to generate a detection signal.

A driver unit is arranged outside a cooking chamber for rotationally driving a turntable, and a magnetic coupling is arranged between a revolving shaft of the turntable and another revolving shaft of the driver unit. The magnetic coupling is composed of a first coupling member attached to the revolving shaft of the driver unit and having magnets arranged so as to provide a surrounding of the revolving shaft with magnetic poles of alternately different polarities, and a second coupling member attached to the revolving shaft of the turntable and having magnets arranged so as to provide a surrounding of the revolving shaft with magnetic poles of alternately different polarities. The first and second coupling members face each other with a non-magnetic wall portion defining the cooking chamber being sandwiched therebetween.

Disclosed is a steam generating mechanism in a cooking oven equipped with a heater and a fan for blowing a hot air into a chamber of the oven, said steam generating mechanism further comprising: a water-supply receiver guide attached integrally to a fan guard which is detachably mounted in the front face side of said fan; and a water-supply unit for supplying water to the water-supply receiver guide when the need arises, wherein the water supplied into the water-supply receiver guide is guided toward the suction side of the fan, sucked by the fan together with the air inside the chamber, and dispersed toward the heater, so that the water may be heated by the heater to be formed into steam, which is then blown into the chamber of the oven.

A heating apparatus of the present invention relates to a high speed oven having a turntable mechanism for heating food products by utilizing a combination of jet impingement of heated air (a jet impingement) and microwaves or either of them, the apparatus comprising a safety device and an exhaust device. This invention has the following configurations: a turntable mechanism for enabling the turntable to be preferably rotated, the turntable including openings at the central part thereof so that the heated air and microwaves can pass therethrough; a limiter mechanism for removing overload imposed on the turntable by utilizing only a mechanical operation; an apparatus provided with scarfed areas on upper and lower boards of the heating chamber so that the food products can be baked uniformly even when utilizing a jet impingement technique; a fan guard comprising a switch activation device for activating a switch for allowing a generation of the heated air, which switch is positioned at the outside of the heating chamber, only when the fan guard is fixed to the heating chamber; a heating apparatus which simplifies operations for connecting exhaust tubes upon a number of apparatuses being stacked on each other; and a turntable driving mechanism for preventing contaminants from flowing into a gap between a connecting shaft and an axis receptor.

High speed oven using a jet of heated air

A coated metal sheet has undercoat and topcoat paint films formed on the metal substrate. The undercoat film is composed of polyester paint, which is preferably prepared by adding methylated or butylated melamine resin as a curing agent to hydroxyl group-containing macromolecular polyester resin having a glass-transition temperature of 10.degree. C. or higher. The topcoat film is composed of the polyester paint which is preferably prepared by adding an isocyanate curing agent in an amount of 10 wt. % or more to hydrocyl group-containing macromolecular polyester resin. The substrate metal may be a chemically converted steel sheet, galvarnized steel sheet, stainless steel sheet or aluminum sheet. Since the coated steel sheet is bonded with excellent shear strength and durability, it is useful as the casing of electric home appliance or business machine, or a structural member or part for building or furniture.

A heating apparatus includes a central support axle positioned within a heating chamber of the heating apparatus. The heating apparatus provides both hot-air heating and micro-wave heating. A turntable has a central portion supported by the central support axle so that the turntable is rotated around the central support axle. A driving source is positioned at an upper side of the heating chamber for generating a rotating torque, and a connecting shaft for transmitting the rotating torque generated by the driving source to the turntable is provided in the heating chamber. The turntable has an entirely flat shaped section including a plane on which food products to be heated are mounted. A central portion of the flat shaped section is defined at a concave which is downwardly recessed into the plane and arranged to be fixed to and supported by the central support axis. The plane and the concave of said flat shaped section are provided with a plurality of openings so that hot air and micro-waves can be passed therethrough. The driving axle is engaged, at a lower end portion thereof, with an outer periphery of the flat shaped section to transmit the rotating torque to the flat shaped section.
