An electric power tool includes a main body having a drive portion with a motor, an output portion for holding a tool, and a battery pack attachment portion, and a battery pack attached to the battery pack attachment portion by means of an attaching and detaching mechanism. The battery pack supplies electric power to the drive portion to operate the output portion. The attaching and detaching mechanism has a releasing unit for releasing the battery pack from the main body by operating plural types of release operation portions in their entirety.

Electric power tool

An electric power tool includes a body part for outputting a rotational force at one end thereof, a grip part provided to extend from the body part in an intersecting relationship with the body part, and a suspension link provided at the other end of the body part for hanging the body part. The suspension link is configured to ensure that, if the body part is suspended from the suspension link using the suspension link as a pivot point, the electric power tool is kept by a weight balance in a horizontal posture in which the extension direction of the grip part is substantially orthogonal to the vertical direction or an inclined horizontal posture in which the joint portion of the body part and the grip part is positioned at the upper side.

Electric power tool with a holding device

In an electric saw includes a circular saw blade, a guard cover is arranged to surround an upper portion of the circular saw blade and a dust collecting case is arranged at the rear of the guard cover for collecting chips generated during a cutting operation performed by the circular saw blade. An openable lid unit is arranged in a position along a passage through which the chips pass. The guard cover is formed into a curved shape along the circular saw blade and the passage is defined by the guard cover to extend along a peripheral edge of the circular saw blade. The lid unit includes an opening portion formed in the passage and a lid member for closing the opening portion. The lid unit is opened toward the front of the guard cover as the lid member is rotated along a rotating plane of the circular saw blade.

Electric saw

Provided are novel data storage devices, such as hard disk apparatuses. The devices include a clean chamber accommodating a component formed from a free cutting stainless steel. The free cutting stainless steel has a sulfur (S) content of not less than 0.25 percent by mass and a manganese-to-sulfur content ratio (Mn/S) of not greater than 1.8. The free cutting stainless steel has been subjected to: (1) an acid cleaning; (2) to a passivation treatment; (3) to a degreasing treatment and to a subsequent rust-removing, descaling chemical treatment; or (5) to a degreasing treatment and to a subsequent chromate treatment.

Data storage device

A spindle motor comprises a stationary shaft, a rotor hub rotatably mounted by ball bearings to the stationary shaft, and annular sealing members disposed between the outer surface of the stationary shaft and the inner side of the rotor hub axially outwardly of the ball bearings. The sealing member is directly fitted onto the outer race of the corresponding ball bearing. The outer race of each ball bearing is high precision finished so that the sealing member is definitely coaxial with the stationary shaft regardless of the finishing accuracy on the inner side of the rotor hub. Accordingly, the radial distance between the inner side of the sealing member and the outer surface of the stationary shaft can be minimized with high precision offering an excellent labyrinth effect.

Spindle motor with seal structure

A spindle motor comprising a stationary member, a hub rotatably supported on the stationary member via a pair of bearing members, and a magnetic fluid seal disposed outwardly of at least one of the pair of bearing members. A conduit hole is provided to conduct between an annular space stipulated by the stationary member, the magnetic fluid seal, the rotor and the other of the bearing member and the inside of the motor. Furthermore, a magnetic fluid holder means in the magnetic fluid seal is improved.

A spindle motor comprises a stationary member, a hub which is mounted rotatably on the stationary member through a pair of bearings, a rotor magnet which is mounted on the hub, a stator located face to face to said rotor magnet and a clamp for mounting recording disks to the hub. The hub is provided with a mating protrusion for fixing the clamp, the mating protrusion is fitted with a flat end of the hub, and the clamp is fixed by mounting the flat end of the hub with a fastening screw. Further, with a sealing member being fitted on the bearing, a labyrinthine sealing structure is formed with the sealing member and the stationary member.
