An injection device adapted to the luer lock system and a syringe holder for making it is disclosed. The syringe holder for holding an inserted syringe, with a cap attached to the male luer at the tip, comprises a cylindrical barrel portion having an open distal end and an open proximal end, and a finger rest around the outer surface of the barrel portion at a position relatively closer to the proximal end, wherein a stopper means is provided at the inner surface of the barrel portion at the distal end thereof, the stopper means being designed to abut on the outer edge of the distal end of the syringe, and wherein a female-threaded sleeve extends forwardly from the distal end of the barrel portion, which is designed to surround the tip of the syringe and the cap, and wherein a proximal end cap is provided, at the proximal end of the barrel portion, which is designed to abut on the outer edge of the proximal end of the syringe, and has a bore to pass the piston rod through.

Syringe holder and injection device

An injection device is disclosed which is designed to receive therein a two-compartment syringe, and to be used to mix the pharmaceutical agents and then conduct injections. The injection device comprises a cylindrical barrel portion so configured that the two-compartment syringe can be inserted therein in a rear-end first manner, a piston rod for pushing the slidable rear wall to advance, a front spring that is compressed, when the two-compartment syringe is inserted, and then push back the piston rod in the forward direction, and a sleeve which can be shifted back and forth and is provided by screw engagement with the outer surface of the rear part of the barrel portion to block the forward movement of the piston rod.

Injection device

An image forming apparatus that forms an image according to an electrophotographic system includes plural developing units provided in a cylinder, which freely rotates a fixed angle at a time around a rotation shaft, to rotate together with the cylinder. Toner levels of toner cartridges arranged in the developing units are detected by rotating the cylinder a predetermined angle to stop the cylinder and measuring a flow-down time of a toner, which flows down inside of the toner cartridge, using an optical sensor.

Disclosed is an injection device for properly dissolving pharmaceutical agents contained in a two-compartment syringe having slidable front and rear walls, and then performing portionwise multiple injections. The injection device comprises a front casing designed to enclose and hold the two-compartment syringe with a double-ended needle attached to the front end of it, a rear casing designed to receive the thus held two-compartment syringe being inserted in the rear-end first manner, and to lock and hold the front casing, a piston rod placed in the rear casing and designed to push from behind and carry forward the slidable rear wall, wherein the piston rod can be pushed forwardly from behind the rear casing, and a spring provided so that, when the front end of the piston rod is moved backward, the spring may be once compressed and then push the piston rod to a forward position again, and forwardly drives the slidable rear wall to abut on the slidable front wall.

In a terminal which received an electronic document with at leastone digital signature, when a user changes the contents of the received electronic document, a new digital signature is produced by enciphering signature data by using a secret key of the user, the signature data including a hash total of the document of a new version, personal information of the user (signatory), and version management information necessary to restore an electronic document of a former version from the electronic document of the new version. A method and apparatus for carrying out limited encipherment broadcast by generating a cipher key obtained from destination information added to service information are provided. An information service station transmits to each receiving station a random number, destination information for designating a destination station, and enciphered data obtained by enciphering service information by a common key generating by using the random number and destination information. An IC card at each receiving station which is provided in advance with a key generating function from the information service station, generates the common key by using the received random number and destination information only when it is confirmed from the destination information that the receiving station has a data redeption right, and deciphers the enciphered data by using the common key to obtain the original service information. The processing time required for generating the common key can be reduced because of a small amount of data to be used.

Limited broadcast system

Method and system which permit, among a plurality of terminals, group cipher communication from a desired terminal to a number of desired terminals while ensuring safety of security. A plurality of secret values called master keys which are common to a predetermined subset of IC cards are stored in an IC card. A terminal initially starting communication generates a destination indicator to transmit it to other terminals, selects one of a plurality of master keys stored in an IC card on the basis of the destination indicator, generates a group key by using the selected master key, and performs encipherment and decipherment of a communication message by using the generated group key to carry out broadcast. A terminal standing for a destination receives the destination indicator, selects one of a plurality of master keys on the basis of the destination indicator, generates the group key on the basis of the selected master key and performs encipherment and decipherment of the communication message by using the generated group key.

An image forming apparatus has an illumination lamp and a controller for varying the intensity of light rays from the illumination lamp in accordance with a first base density area and a second image density area. The first density will be determined in accordance with detected values of highest and lowest degrees of brightness and highest and lowest degrees of darkness. Similarly, the second density will be determined in accordance with detected values of highest and lowest degrees of brightness and highest and lowest degrees of darkness. Differences between these values will be determined and then normalized. A conformity-determining section will find a voltage-controlling rule most similar to the normalized differences and the rule will be used to control the illumination lamp.

Cryptographic techniques for enciphering computer messages or the like include a unit for generating a cipher program for enciphering message data or plaintext by using a plurality of kinds of basic involution processing programs and desired key data, and a unit for enciphering the message data into ciphertext by executing the generated cipher program for the message data. A part of the involution processing program includes a substitution transformation portion and a permutation transformation portion. In accordance with the bit pattern of the above key data, a sequence for executing each of the involution processing programs and a sequence for executing the substitution transformation portion and the permutation transformation portion are determined. The above plurality of transformation processes include an operation of circular shifting to the right or left by X bits and an operation of circular shifting to the right or left by Y bits, with the X and Y being mutually different numbers. An indication of detailed numerical values of the X and Y and the right or left direction for a circular shift is given by key data. According to the above structure, a part of the functions for structuring the encipherment algorithms and the sequence for executing the functions are changed by key data. With the above arrangement, a large amount of algorithm transformation patterns are generated by the product of a number of changes of a part of the functions and a sum of combinations of permutation in the sequence of executing the functions, thus making it extremely difficult to crack the algorithms.

A light amount control apparatus contains an exposure lamp, a photo sensor for receiving light from the lamp, an AC power source for applying an AC voltage to the lamp, a CPU for computing an electric power to be supplied to the exposure lamp in accordance with magnifications and optical densities of originals by using the data signal outputted from the photo sensor, a lamp regulator for control an electric power supplied to the exposure lamp by using a value computed by the CPU, and a zero-cross generator for causing the CPU to periodically perform the computation in synchronism with the AC voltage of AC power source applied to the lamp.

An image carrier carries an electrostatic latent image. A charger charges the image carrier to carry the electrostatic latent image. A high-voltage source supplies a high-voltage output to the charger for charging. A temperature detector detects the temperature of the image carrier. A charging controller outputs a control signal for regulating the high-voltage output of the high-voltage source in response to the temperature detection signal from the temperature detector. The control signal has the ability to compensate for changes in the charging of the image carrier by controlling the high-voltage output of the high-voltage source, in accordance with changes in temperature of the image carrier.

A display device according to the present invention is incorporated into an electrical machine in order to display the operating condition of the electrical machine. The electrical machine has movable parts such as doors to be opened by an operator when the electrical machine stops operating due to a malfunction. This display device schematically shows, by means of display elements, the positions of the movable parts before and after the operator moves them, and displays the elements in accordance with the condition of the electrical machine. Upon the occurrence of a malfunction in the electrical machine, the display elements on the schematic display corresponding to the faulty machine part can be displayed so as to be understood by the operator.
