Provided is a black heart malleable cast iron and a method for manufacturing the same which can significantly shorten the time required for graphitization, as compared with the prior art. The black heart malleable cast iron includes a matrix of ferrite and lump graphite included in the matrix, and includes at least one selected from the group consisting of (i) 0.0050% by mass or more and 0.15% by mass or less of bismuth and 0.020% by mass or more of manganese, and (ii) 0.0050% by mass or more and 1.0% by mass or less of aluminum and 0.0050% by mass or more of nitrogen. In addition, the grain size of the matrix is 8.0 or more and 10.0 or less in terms of grain size number, numerically determined by comparison between a metallographic photograph of the matrix and a standard grain size chart.

The photoelectric conversion device according to the present invention includes: a pair of electrodes; an electrolytic solution disposed between the pair of electrodes; and a sealing portion that links the pair of electrodes and is provided around the electrolytic solution. At least part of the sealing portion includes at least one inorganic sealing portion constituted by an inorganic material and at least one resin sealing portion constituted by a material including a resin. The inorganic sealing portion and the resin sealing portion are disposed along a direction connecting the pair of electrodes.

Photoelectric conversion device

In an electrode substrate, the surface of a metal circuit layeris covered and insulated by an insulating layer. In a photoelectric conversion element that uses this electrode substrate, the metal circuit layer is reliably shielded from an electrolyte solution or the like so that corrosion and leak current thereof is effectively prevented, and the photoelectric conversion efficiency can be improved. The insulating layeris preferably made of a material that contains a glass component, and is particularly preferably formed by printing a paste that contains glass frit. The metal circuit layeris preferably formed using a printing method.

The electrically conductive glass is obtained by providing a transparent electrically conductive filmsuch as ITO or FTO on a glass plate, and providing a grid including a film of a passivated metal on this transparent electrically conductive film. An insulating, fine oxide film formed on the surface of the passivated metal prevents leakage current from flowing from the grid to an electrolyte. According to the present invention, air bubbles can be exhausted effectively from power generating area, so that a photoelectric conversion element possessing an improved power generation property and a long-term durability can be provided.
