A primary winding of a first insulating transformer for balance-to-unbalance transformation is connected between the central electrode and the outer electrode of an input terminal, and windings of a noise eliminating transformer are provided within balanced lines on the side of a secondary winding of the first insulating transformer. A primary winding of a second insulating transformer for balance-to-unbalance transformation is connected between the central electrode and the outer electrode of an output terminal, and balanced lines on the side of the secondary winding of the second insulating transformer is connected to the noise eliminating transformer. One end of each of the primary windings, which is grounded to the ground line, is connected to the middle print of the secondary winding of each insulating transformer. Noise components having the same phase inputted from both electrodes of the input terminal are cancelled at the primary winding of the first insulating transformer, and the remaining noise components are completely eliminated through the noise eliminating transformer and the secondary winding of the second insulating transformer.

A primary winding of a first insulating transformer for balance-to-unbalance transformation is connected between the central electrode and the outer electrode of an input terminal, and windings of a noise eliminating transformer are provided within balanced lines on the side of a secondary winding of the first insulating transformer. A primary winding of a second insulating transformer for balance-to-unbalance transformation is connected between the central electrode and the outer electrode of an output terminal, and balanced lines on the side of the secondary winding of the second insulating transformer is connected to the noise eliminating transformer. A multi-tap distribution apparatus is encased in an enclosure comprising a boxed shaped housing (,) with one side open and a main body (,) fitted in the opening of the housing. A pair of operating windows (,) are recessed in the main body for mounting and removing thermistors (,). Four connectors (,) are projected into each operating window through insertion holes (,) in the bottom surface of the window. The connectors are coupled to a current transmission circuit (,) which feeds distribution output terminals (,) with operating currents. Four thermistors can be detachably coupled to the connectors without opening the enclosure. By coupling and detaching each thermistor, operating currents can be passed and blocked to the corresponding distribution output terminal (,). Each operating window (,) is normally closed up with a cover (,) to keep out rain and external noise.

A satellite signal splitter is proposed which can transmit a received signal of a desired polarized wave with one cable to each terminal side when transmitting to plural terminal sides the received signals from a satellite receiving antenna which emits the received signals of a vertically polarized wave and a horizontally polarized wave. The vertically and horizontally polarized-wave received signals transmitted to input terminals 22V and 22H are split into four by splitting circuits 26V and 26H, respectively. The four split signals are transmitted to switching circuits 28a to 28d. In the switching circuits 28a to 28d, in accordance with a voltage level (11V or 15V) of a polarized-wave switching signal transmitted from terminal units connected to output terminals 24a to 24d, either the vertically or horizontally polarized-wave signal is selected and emitted from the output terminals 24a to 24d. Also, the polarized-wave switching signal (11V or 15V) is transmitted via a voltage synthesizing portion 30, choke coils LV, LH and the like from the input terminals 22V and 22H to a corresponding receiving portion of a receiving antenna.

A high-frequency signal branching device comprises a main body having an input terminal and an output terminal for connecting trunk cables on an input and an output side, respectively, and a branch body having a branch terminal for connecting a branch cable. This construction allows the number of branch terminals to be increased by replacing the branch body while keeping the main body intact. A branching circuit for branching a high-frequency signal from the trunk cable is provided in the branch body. Accordingly, the branching circuit also can be replaced by replacing the branch body.

A direction adjustment indicator for a satellite radio wave receiving antenna comprises a demodulating circuit to demodulate a satellite radio wave received by the antenna, a peak holding circuit always to output a held peak value of the demodulated output of the demodulating circuit, a comparator circuit and a display element. The comparator circuit compares the instantaneous value of the demodulated output and the held peak value, and outputs a signal when both values are equal and another different signal when both values are not equal. The display element gives two different kinds of display in accordance with the signals. While the azimuth angle of the antenna is varied in one direction, a peak value of the demodulated output is held and while the angle is varied in the opposite direction, the optimum azimuth angle is displayed for which the instantaneous value of the demodulated output agrees with the held peak value.

A satellite signal receiving apparatus including a channel selector, an outdoor unit and a single transmission line connecting therebetween. The satellite signal receiving apparatus has such a simple structure that the installation work thereof is simple. In the satellite signal receiving apparatus, by superposing a pulse train over a source voltage supplied from the channel selector to the outdoor unit, the type of the polarized radiation signal to be output from the outdoor unit as transmission signal is switched. Since no change of the source voltage is required for switching the type of the polarized radiation signal, appropriate source voltage can be supplied to the outdoor unit. Furthermore, since no action against the heat released by a constant-voltage circuit is necessary, the type of the polarized radiation signal can be switched easily. Even if the source voltage varies with the length of the transmission line, the type of the polarized radiation signal can be switched effectively and stably.
