A biostimulation apparatus of the present invention includes a laser oscillator for oscillating an ultra short pulsed laser beam and an optical system for focusing the ultra short pulsed laser beam, wherein the ultra short pulsed laser beam is focused by the optical system at a target portion of a living subject to cause the target portion to be irradiated with the laser beam to stimulate an acupuncture point, and wherein the target portion is either the acupuncture point or its periphery.

The present invention provides a fullerene suspension and a method for producing a fullerene suspension having high dispersion stability without any chemical compound. Also, the fullerene suspension and its producing method makes it possible to be applied in various fields including the field of medical and pharmaceutical science and the field of foods and environment, in which the fullerene suspension obtained by the prior methods had not been applied. The fullerene is ground to form nanoparticles by irradiating a fullerene in a poor solvent with a laser. The pulse laser having a width of several-ten femtoseconds to several-hundred nanoseconds is appropriately applied.

Method for producing fullerene suspension

An apparatus for forming ultrafine particles, including: a light source generating a laser beam to be irradiated at an organic substance; at least one microflow channel capable of passing therethrough a suspension containing the organic substance; and a flow device for allowing the suspension containing the organic substance to continuously or intermittently pass through the microflow channel, the organic substance present in the microflow channel being irradiated with the laser beam at least once within a predetermined period, thereby forming ultrafine particles of the organic substance.

Method of producing medicinal nanoparticle suspension

To derive spectrum information on chemical intermediates in photochemical reactions during transitional periods, a transient grating spectroscopy uses white light as the probe light in the pico-second region and monochromatic light in the microsecond region. According to the procedure, it is possible to analyze the photochemical reaction of thin films and interface layers as a function of time at a high precision.

Transient grating spectroscopy

A method of spectrometry is disclosed for measuring transient absorbance and transient absorption spectrum of a substance to be measured at interfaces in liquid phase of particulates containing a fluorescent pigment and the substance to be measured by the utilization of optical resonance phenomenon. An apparatus for carrying out the method is also disclosed and comprises: (a) a pulse laser oscillator for exciting the fluorescent pigment and the substance to be measured, respectively; (b) an optical delay device for causing delay of any one of pulse laser beams of two kinds of wavelengths generated by the pulse laser oscillator; (c) a microscope system for condensing laser beams generated by the pulse laser oscillator and irradiating the condensed beams to the sample; and (d) a detector for detecting light emission of the sample. According to the method of the present invention, it is possible to measure transient absorbance and transient absorption spectrum at a high sensitivity even when particulates containing the substance to be measured in liquid phase are present.
