A medicine-holding body is disposed in a flow path of a nozzle portion of an adapter for blood dispensing. The medicine-holding body is formed of a plurality of fibers which is made of polyester and is bundled by aligning a longitudinal direction thereof in a flowing direction which is a direction in which blood flows. The medicine-holding body holds an anticoagulant for suppressing coagulation of blood, as a medicine to be mixed into blood. The surface area of the medicine-holding body is greater than or equal to 10 mmand less than 600 mm. In a case where the surface area of the medicine-holding body is greater than or equal to 10 mm, the concentration of the anticoagulant becomes greater than or equal to a lower limit value of 10 U/mL even under most severe conditions such as a dispensing speed of 500 &#x3bc;L/second. In a case where the surface area of the medicine-holding body is less than 600 mm, it is possible to maintain the occurrence rate of hemolysis to be less than or equal to 10%.

Adapter for blood dispensing

A novel fluorescent compound having a high light fastness, high fluorescence quantum yield and sharp absorption spectrum, which emits fluorescence having a wavelength in long wavelength region, as well as its use as a labeling agent, is disclosed. In Formula [I] below, by forming a specific hetero ring(s) with Rand R, and/or Rand R, shift of the wavelength of the fluorescence to longer wavelength and increase in molar extinction coefficient are attained maintaining the high light fastness, high fluorescence quantum yield and sharp absorption spectrum which the fluorescent dyes having the boron dipyrromethene skeleton have.

Disclosed is the improvement in a dynamic air pressure bearing in which a rotor is supported at high speed in the non-contact state. In an optical deflector, a stationary shaft is planted at the center portion of a housing. A stator core is disposed on a stud. A magnet yoke is integrated with a sleeve rotated relative to the stationary shaft. The magnet yoke contains an inner magnet and an outer magnet. A rotary polygonal mirror is mounted on a flange fixed on the sleeve by means of a center screw and a mirror cap. The rotary polygonal mirror is rotated at high speed together with the sleeve relative to the stationary shaft, thus constituting a dynamic air pressure bearing between the shaft and the sleeve. The stationary shaft is constituted of a main body and a ring-like bearing member fitted in the main body. The bearing member is formed of a ceramic material and formed with grooves for generating dynamic air pressure. The sleeve is preferably constituted of a main body and a bearing member of ceramic.

A toroidal coil motor characterized by the provision of an annular iron core in which laminate-fixing holes whose number is the least common multiple with respect to the number of magnetic poles and the number of toroidal coils are provided symmetrically in a direction of the circumference of the annular iron core.

An electric motor, in which the thrust bearing action is performed by the magnetic attraction forces induced between a annular stator core with toroidal coils and magnets confronting the stator core, includes at least a cup-shaped member with a central cylindrical portion opened at the center, the cup-shaped member serving as a magnet yoke and a seat on which an element to be driven by the motor is mounted, and a cylindrical rotary sleeve press-fitted in the central cylindrical portion. This construction contributes to a reduction of the weight, size and manufacturing cost of the motor.

An electric motor includes at least a stator core carrying toroidal coils wound thereon, a magnet provided in opposition to the stator core so as to constitute a part of a rotor, and magnetic flux detection elements for detecting changes in magnetic polarity of the magnet so as to control a current flowing in the toroidal coils. The stator is provided with a select number of cut portions at its open end. The number of cut portions is not less than that of the magnetic flux detection elements. The winding positions of the toroidal coils are considered in order to maintain magnetic symmetry, the magnetic flux detection elements being provided in the cut portions.

An earth terminal for electrical equipment which is adapted to be attached to and detached from a ground pin. It comprises a collet having locking hooks capable of clamping a ground pin and engageable with a neck portion thereof, a main tubular body in which the collet is inserted in such a manner that the locking hooks project from a mouth thereof, a connector for an earth conductor, which is formed integrally with the tubular body, a shaft formed integrally with the collet and projecting partially from a rear end of the tubular body, a pair of operating levers through which a rear end portion of said shaft is inserted, a holding member consisting of a stop ring mounted fixedly on a rear tip portion of the shaft so as to receive one of the operating levers, a coil spring provided around a front end portion of the shaft so as to urge the collet in the forward direction, a pair of annular face cams, which are engaged with each other and which are formed integrally with the operating levers, respectively, so as to surround the shaft, and projections having inclined surfaces, formed on the outer surfaces of the locking hooks of the collet, and adapted to come into engagement with the mouth of the tubular body.
