Internal combustion engine and manufacturing method therefor

PROBLEMS The present invention provides a sound absorbing structure that enables a sound absorbing rate thereof to be raised in a low-frequency region or medium-high frequency from around 500 Hz to 10 KHz, and a thickness thereof to be reduced. SOLUTIONS The sound absorbing structure has: a non-air permeable sheet molding object having, on one surface side thereof, a plurality of cavities including recesses formed by bending; and a non-air permeable surface sheet which is layered on the sheet molding object, on a cavity open-top side surface thereof, so as to cover open-top of the plurality of cavities, wherein the surface sheet is fixed at outer peripheral sections of the sheet molding objectand is not fixed to the sheet molding object at portions between adjacent cavities.

Sound absorbing structure

A sunroof device includes a roof panel having a first opening portion, a ceiling member having a second opening portion so as to face the first opening portion, a movable panel moved between a full-closed position and an open position, the movable panel passing through a half-closed position, a motor for driving the movable panel, a controlling means for controlling an operation of the motor, an operating member to be operated or released by a passenger in the vehicle, and a switch for inputting an operation signal for operating the motor, and inputting a stop signal for stopping the motor. The controlling means drives the motor until the movable panel reaches the full-closed position while moving towards the full-closed position by the operating member being operated even if the operating member is released after the movable panel reaches the half-closed position.

Sunroof device

A sunroof device is made up of a pair of guide rails placed at laterally opposed inner peripheries of an open area of a vehicle. The pair of guide rails support a movable panel covering and uncovering the open area. A first gutter portion extends along a lengthwise direction of the guide rail. A second gutter portion is positioned below the first gutter portion and is brought into fluid communication with an end of the first gutter portion, characterized in that the second gutter portion is formed with an upstanding wall located at a distance from the end of the first gutter portion when the second gutter portion is brought into an overlap condition in such a manner that the upstanding wall defines an area of the second gutter portion to be overlapped with the first gutter portion. An easy connection can be made between the first gutter portion and the second gutter portion.

A sliding roof device is made up of a pair of laterally spaced guide rails provided at inner peripheries of an open area formed in a vehicular roof panel, the guide rails supporting a movable panel in movable fashion in order to open and close the open area; a front frame connecting a front end of one of the guide rails and a front end of the other, the front frame and the pair of the guide rails constituting a sunroof frame; and a driving mechanism including a motor, a gear mechanism driven by the motor, an output gear associated with the gear mechanism, a geared cable engaged with the output gear in meshing fashion and connected to the movable panel for the movement thereof when the motor is turned on, and a casing pipe through which the geared cable is passed in movable fashion, characterized in that a housing and a box are provided, the housing placing the output gear outside the sunroof frame, the housing accommodating therein the gear mechanism, the box being formed integrally with the sunroof frame, the box covering the meshing engagement between the geared cable and the output gear.

Sliding roof device

A vehicle sun-roof device includes a movable panel for fully covering and uncovering an opening in the vehicle roof, a guide rail provided along a side of the opening in the vehicle longitudinal direction, and a link mechanism associated with the movable panel for tilting the movable panel. The link mechanism includes a bracket supporting the movable panel, a link member for restricting the rotational position of the bracket, a drive shoe slidably disposed in the guide rail and associated with the bracket via the link member, and a driven shoe slidably disposed in the guide rail and rotatably supporting one end of the bracket. A checking mechanism restricts the movement of the driven shoe in the vehicle longitudinal direction and includes a restriction portion formed at the bracket and a guide block fixed to the guide rail. When the rotational position of the bracket is within a range between a first rotational position at which the opening is fully covered by the movable panel and a second rotational position at which the movable panel is tilted at a maximum angle, the restriction portion and the guide block continue to be engaged in the vehicle longitudinal direction.

Sun roof device

A sunshade for a vehicle sunroof is structured to have a base member for shielding sunlight from striking the inside of the vehicle through an opening formed in the vehicle body when the sunshade is closed, which is housed within a housing space formed adjacent to the opening when the sunshade is opened, and an edge member integrally provided with a handle, which has a shield integrally mounted on the advancing-side end portion of the base member to shield the advancing-side terminal portion from the view of the vehicle occupant. This construction of the sunshade improves the productivity and reduces the cost of the sunshade.

Sunshade for vehicle sunroof

A pallet transport apparatus includes individual pallets which travel in succession on a run way, each of the pallets containing an in-line indexing dual-cam mechanism and a drive motor for the cam mechanism for controlled rotation, and the run way including pairs of cam followers which are arranged at regular intervals along the run way and each of which engages the corresponding cam plates on a pallet facing it. The pallets can travel and remain motionless every one pitch as determined by the interval between the adjacent cam follower pairs.

A parallel indexing cam structure has a locking cam and a pair of further cams which are rigidly secured to an input shaft at predetermined angular positions relative to each other, and a cam follower device is rigidly secured to an output shaft parallel to the input shaft and has a plurality of spider plates and three sets of cam follower rollers. During the dwell period, the locking cam is contacted by two rollers of one set of the cam follower rollers while the further cams are contacted by only one of the rollers of the respective remaining sets. The locking cam has a larger profile circle at the dwell position during the dwell period than the further cams, thereby blocking the rotation of the output shaft with increased accuracy and stiffness during the dwell period.
