There is provided a seatback frame integrally formed by resin molding, the seatback frame including: an upper side frame section that includes a headrest retaining portion that extends along a seat width direction; a pair of side frame sections that extend along a seat up-down direction; and a reinforcing section that is formed in the upper side frame section by forming plural recessed portions, at least from the headrest retaining portion to the seat width direction end portion, wherein at least one or more of the recessed portions is open toward the seat rear side so as to provide a first wall face at the seat front side; and another one or more of the recessed portions is open toward the seat front side so as to provide a second wall face at the seat rear side.

Seatback frame and resin for employing in a seatback frame

A vehicle seat includes: a seatback frame of a resin-formed seatback, including a plate-shaped back face panel portion; a headrest; a seatback pad; a lattice-shaped spring member formed from wire arranged in a lattice shape, attached to the seatback frame at a front side of the back face panel portion, and that resiliently supports the seatback pad from a rear side, with a space formed between the back face panel portion and the lattice-shaped spring member; and a load transmission section provided at one of the lattice-shaped spring member or the back face panel portion and disposed inside the space so as to project out toward the side of the other one of the lattice-shaped spring member or the back face panel portion, such that a gap is formed between the load transmission section and the other one of the lattice-shaped spring member or the back face panel portion.

Vehicle seat

There is provided a vehicle seat including: a seatback frame that includes a plate-shaped back face panel portion; a headrest; a seatback pad that is provided at a front face side of the seatback frame, with a space formed between the seatback pad and the back face panel portion; a back spring that is formed from wire and includes left and right side portions extending in an up-down direction of the seatback, at both seat width direction sides inside the space, and includes a lower portion coupling together lower end portions of the left and right side portions in the seat width direction, wherein the left and right side portions are supported so as to be capable of undergoing displacement toward a seat width direction outer side with respect to the seatback frame, and support the seatback pad from a seat rear side.

A vehicle seat comprising a seat cushion having a seat cushion main body portion and seat cushion side portions that are disposed on both sides in a seat width direction of the seat cushion main body portion; a seat back having a seat back main body portion and seat back side portions that are disposed on both sides in the seat width direction of the seat back main body portion; and a varying mechanism supporting at least one of the seat cushion main body portion and the seat back main body portion, and varying the position of the seat cushion main body portion in a seat upward and downward direction relative to the seat cushion side portions, and/or varying the position of the seat back main body portion in a seat frontward and rearward direction relative to the seat back side portions.

A seat cushion frame structure of a seat for a vehicle has an oblique monolithic strip on at least one of a pair of side frames an upper end of which is fixed to a side portion of the at least one of pair of side frames and a lower end of which is fixed to the seat cushion frame structure at a position forward of the upper end. The oblique monolithic strip is arranged in such a way that one of its strip surfaces opposed to each other is oriented to be upward, its cross section perpendicular to the opposed strip surfaces is a rectangle long in a lateral direction and includes at each of its upper and lower ends a wound portion which is wound in a loop manner in such a way that the one of said opposed strip surfaces is oriented to be inward.
