A semiconductor module bonding structure includes: a semiconductor module including a semiconductor element and a positive terminal which is a plate-shaped power terminal electrically connected to the semiconductor element; and a main P bus bar which is a bus bar including a plate-shaped bonding part bonded to the positive terminal of the semiconductor module. The positive terminal of the semiconductor module which is one of the positive terminal and the bonding part of the main P bus bar that has a relatively small thickness is configures to be wider than the bonding part which is the other having a relatively large thickness, and the positive terminal and the bonding part are bonded together by fusion welding in the state of being arranged so that the respective thickness directions of the positive terminal and the bonding part are orthogonal to each other.

Semiconductor module bonding structure and bonding method

In a wireless power supply apparatus, a first unit electrically connected to a power supply and a second unit electrically connected to an electric load. Power transmission is performed wirelessly between the first and second units using a magnetic resonance phenomenon. Each of the units has a resonant amplifier circuit provided with switching means driven by a drive signal, a resonant coil to which a high-frequency signal generated by the resonant amplifier circuit is supplied such that the resonant coil functions as a resonant inductor on the resonant amplifier circuit, and electric storage means electrically connected to the resonant amplifier circuit so as to be capable of charging and discharging power. The second unit includes current detecting means for detecting a current flowing through the storage means, and phase control means for controlling a phase of the drive signal for the switching means based on the detected current.

Wireless power supply apparatus

A wireless power supply apparatus using magnetic resonance is provided for a linear motion type robot. In the apparatus, a high-frequency signal for foreign matter detection is generated. This signal is different in wavelength and frequency from a high-frequency signal for transmitting power between a power transmission coil and a power reception coil. The wavelength is wavelength &#x3bb; and the frequency is frequency f. The power transmission coil serves as an apparent antenna of which the long side is set to &#x3bb;/2. At least either of a wavelength &#x3bb;x or a resonance frequency fx of a resonance wave attributed to the resonance in the antenna is detected when the high-frequency signal is supplied to the antenna. Whether or not foreign matter is present on the power transmission coil is detected based on the wavelength &#x3bb;x or the resonance frequency fx.

Wireless power supply apparatus for linear motion type robot

A housing for enclosing an electronic control unit is constructed of a resinous cover and a metallic case having heat conductivity higher than that of the resinous cover. An air intake module is mounted on an engine inside an engine compartment. The air intake module forms an air passage through which air flows from an air inlet toward the engine. The electronic control unit is mounted on the air intake module such that the metallic case is exposed to the air passage in the air intake module and the resinous cover is exposed to the outside of the air intake module, that is, exposed in the engine compartment.

There is a case where first and second pressurizing units press different portions of friction members to a brake disc so as to press the friction members to the brake disc with predetermined pressing force, thereby generating braking force. When the brake noise is generated, a distribution ratio of the pressing force is changed by changing at least one of the pressing force generated by the first pressurizing unit and the pressing force generated by the second pressurizing unit. Accordingly, when the friction member contacts the brake disc, it is possible to change pressure distributions between first portions and second portions, whereby the brake noise is reduced or suppressed.

A vehicle ECU (Electronic Control Unit) has a main microcomputer and an auxiliary microcomputer, with the main microcomputer periodically executing a processing routine for calculating values such as degrees of throttle opening of the vehicle engine based upon the current operating condition of the engine, wherein the main microcomputer generates resource inspection data during each execution of the routine and transmits the resource inspection data to the auxiliary microcomputer, with the resource inspection data including for example respective checksums for values calculated in successive steps of the routine and information indicating whether all steps of the routine have been actually executed, and with the auxiliary microcomputer monitoring the operation of the main microcomputer based upon the received resource inspection data.

Vehicle electronic control apparatus incorporating a plurality of microcomputers and implementing a microcomputer monitoring function

A braking force is generated by using a rotation of an electric motor to move a piston, which presses friction members onto a rotor. The displacement of the piston is controlled such that a detection value of a resolver becomes a target value. In the case of brake noise due to vibration of the rotor, the displacement of the friction members with respect to the rotor fluctuates in connection with the rotation of the rotor, leading to fluctuations in a rotational amount of the electric motor. Therefore, in a simple method and apparatus, brake noise can be detected based upon the magnitude of the fluctuation amount in the detection value of the resolver.

Vehicular braking apparatus and method

A brake squeal control device is proposed which carries out squeal control by specifying travel state and temperature conditions in which brake noise tends to be produced. The brake squeal control device is adapted to feed detection signals from a sensor group that indicates the travel state of the vehicle from a stepping force sensor or wheel speed sensors, and a sensor group that indicates the temperature state from an engine cooling water temperature sensor, a car compartment temperature sensor, a caliper temperature sensor or an outer air temperature sensor to a control circuit. If conditions corresponding to an 'in-the-cold' and 'first-in-the-morning' states are detected by computing in the control circuit, a solenoid valve is turned on and off to suppress brake squeals.

Vehicle brake squeal control device

A brake squeal control device is proposed in which specific control for reducing brake squeals can be carried out to meet the will of a driver, and squeal control conditions for starting squeal reduction can be set individually to meet the requirements of drivers. Signals from wheel speed sensors, which indicate travel state, a hydraulic pressure sensor in a hydraulic circuit, which indicates the braking state, interior and exterior temperature sensors, which indicate the temperature state, and a manual switch operated by the will of a driver are sent to a control circuit. Conditions when squeals which the driver wishes to reduce or eliminate are produced, are stored in the control circuit, and when certain data are prepared, thereafter, by detecting the conditions at the time of generation, automatic squeal control is carried out.

An output signal that accords with a rotation speed of a brake rotor of a respective wheel is output by a vehicle wheel speed sensor. A noise frequency identification portion identifies a frequency component that corresponds to brake noise from this output signal. It is possible, for example, to identify a frequency component that corresponds to brake squeal by performing fast Fourier transform (FFT) calculation for the vehicle wheel speed. Further, a noise detection portion determines that brake noise is being generated when the frequency component identified by the noise frequency identification portion is equal to or more than a predetermined value.

Brake noise detection device

In a metal bellows accumulator, a metallic bellows unit is disposed within a pressure space defined in a main shell, and one end of the metallic bellows unit is fixedly secured to one end wall of the main shell. The metallic bellows unit sections the pressure space into an outer chamber serving as a gas chamber in which a pressurized gas is enclosed, and an inner chamber serving as a liquid chamber communicating with a liquid port formed in the end wall of the main shell. A stopper (auxiliary shell) for limiting collapsing movement of the metallic bellows unit is disposed within the liquid chamber and has a communication passage hole. The liquid port always communicates with a liquid chamber to which an inner circumferential surface of a bellows portion of the metallic bellows unit is exposed via the communication passage hole.

A vehicle brake device having a hydraulic pressure generating source is proposed which can reliably prevent dragging and ensure the initial response of brakes during braking. In a brake fluid supply passage from the master cylinder to the wheel cylinder, a brake fluid circulating passage having a hydraulic pressure generating source is provided. A detector for detecting whether the brake pedal is being operated, and a detector for detecting dragging of the brake pads are provided, and only when dragging is detected while the brake pedal is not being operated, the hydraulic pressure generating source is actuated for a predetermined time with a supply valve provided in the brake fluid circulating passage closed and a return valve open to suck brake fluid in the wheel cylinder and increase the distances between the brake pads and the disk rotor, thereby reliably preventing dragging.

Vehicle brake device

An electronic throttle control system has a main computer and a sub-computer. The main computer calculates a target throttle angle, and the sub-computer controls a throttle actuator. In the computers, a throttle angle monitor value is set based on an accelerator angle to determine a normal range, and monitor an electronic throttle control operation by determining whether an actual throttle angle is within the normal range. The data characteristic of the monitor value is defined in a logic with which the throttle angle is controlled in the throttle closing direction upon occurrence of a memory retention abnormality.

In the rotary pump, a high pressure outer circumference chamber, which is formed around an outer circumference of an outer rotor and communicates with a discharge port, presses radially inward first defined parts among the outer circumference of the outer rotor that are positioned radially outside second defined parts adjacent to teeth gap portions whose volume are largest and smallest among teeth gap portions communicating with an intake port. Teeth top clearance between the outer and inner rotors at the second defined part is reduced due to pressure difference between the discharge pressure applied to the first defined parts and the intake pressure applied to the second defined parts.

An EL element including a first electrode, a luminescent layer, an insulation layer, and a second electrode is laminated so that a short circuit between the first electrode and the second electrode at a defect of the insulation layer between the luminescent layer and the second electrode is prevented. A cavity is formed in the layer under an area at which the second insulation layer is missing. The second electrode is separated by the cavity from the first insulation layer located under the luminescent layer to prevent a short circuit.
