The present invention provides a punch press which enables cartridges to be easily replaced so that the replacement of the cartridges allows the use of a large number of tools, which enables tools in the cartridges to be quickly indexed, and which allows the accuracy of punching to be easily improved. Cartridgesare used which hold tools, respectively. Cartridge holdersare provided which hold the cartridges, respectively, that are supported by a punch frameand located at a press position P. A ramis provided above the cartridge means holders. The cartridge holdershave cartridge clamps, respectively, removably holding the corresponding cartridges. The cartridge holdershave cartridge rotating mechanisms, respectively, that rotate the held cartridgesin order to index any of the tools. The cartridge holdersfix the cartridgesduring punching so that the cartridges cannot be moved in a vertical direction.

Plate material processing machine with bending function and tool for the same

A driving device for a pressing machine, particularly effective on a turret punch press, whereby both high speed processing at times of low load and high load processing at low speeds can be carried out even with a low output motor. A driving device for a press machine that transmits the rotation of a motor 12 to a press system 11 via a rotation transmission system 29 having a speed reduction gear 30, wherein a speed change gear 31 intervenes on the rotation transmission system 29. The speed change gear 31 is arranged on the input side of the speed reduction gear 30. The press system 11 is a system for exchanging a rotation movement to a linear movement, reciprocally driving the punch tool 4 and comprises the toggle system 8 and the crank system 13 or the like. Driving device for a pressing machine

In a toggle type punch driving system, the upper and lower ends of a bendable lever which can bend at an intermediate part thereof are pivotably connected to a fulcrum member and a ram respectively, and an advancing/retreating member for bending the lever is connected to the bendable part of the bending lever. The fulcrum member is formed as a vertically pivotable lever and it is borne by an upper/lower position switchover mechanism composed of a second bendable lever supported between a free end of the fulcrum member and frame, and an air cylinder. A retraction stroke of the ram necessary for tool change is assigned to the bending motion of the second bendable lever to diminish the punching stroke of the ram based on the bending motion of the bendable lever.

Toggle type punch driving system

The top and bottom ends of a pivoting lever, which is pivotable in the middle, are rotatably connected with a supporting component and a ram, respectively. A shuttle component is linked with the pivot point of the pivoting lever. The shuttle component drives the pivoting lever forcing it to pivot, and when the shuttle component reaches the midpoint of the stroke the pivoting is fully extended. The shuttle component is shuttled by way of a crank, utilizing a servomotor as the drive source. The ram drives the punching tool and is held by the frame in the way that it can readily make the up and down motion.

Toggle-type punch drive apparatus

In a combined processing machine provided with a punching press mechanism and a laser head, a detector such as an electric micrometer is mounted on a cross slide provided for moving a workpiece on a work table with the aid of a work piece holder. The detector is made to come into contact with the rear face of the upper turret and subsequently with the laser head and measures the deviation of the punching position and the laser processing position.
