A transformer includes the first iron core having a plurality of legs arranged spaced apart from each other; a plurality of high-voltage side coils wound around the plurality of legs, respectively, and receiving a common single-phase AC power; and a plurality of low-voltage side coils provided corresponding to the high-voltage side coils, magnetically coupled to the corresponding high-voltage side coils, and wound around the plurality of legs, respectively. The high-voltage side coils and the corresponding low-voltage side coils constitute a plurality of coil groups. The transformer further includes the second iron core provided between the coil groups adjacent to each other.

Transformer

A transformer device includes an iron core, a plurality of stacked coils, wound onto the iron core, a plurality of base members arranged between the plurality of coils adjacent in a stacking direction, a plurality of flow channel member groups provided for each of the coils, each provided at a corresponding base member, and forming a flow channel directed to a flow of an insulating liquid between the corresponding base member and a corresponding coil, and an obstruction member arranged to obstruct the flow of the insulating liquid such that at least one of the flow channels formed by the plurality of flow channel member groups differs in the flow volume of the insulating liquid from another of the flow channels, and to obstruct the flow of the insulating liquid at a region not overlapping with the iron core in the flowing direction of the insulating liquid, among the flow channels.

Transformer device

A voltage transforming apparatus includes a first high voltage side coil, a first low voltage side coil magnetically coupled to the first high voltage side coil, a second low voltage side coil magnetically coupled to the first high voltage side coil, and a first switch switching an externally supplied voltage between being supplied to the first low voltage side coil and the second low voltage side coil and being supplied to the first high voltage side coil. The first low voltage side coil and the second low voltage side coil are provided such that a magnetic flux that is generated by current flowing through the first low voltage side coil and a magnetic flux that is generated by current flowing through the second low voltage side coil cancel each other out when a voltage is supplied via the first switch.

Voltage transforming apparatus

In order to additionally furnish the transformer with the reactor capability easily without having to change the structure of the transformer, a transformer is formed by winding an input-side coiland output-side coilsandaround a shell-type iron coreso that voltages are induced in the output-side coilsandby magnetic fluxes generated by a voltage applied on the input-side coil, and two reactor coilsandhaving the same winding number in the opposite winding directions and making a pair are wound around the shell-type iron core. A shared reactor transformer as a whole is thus formed.

In a vehicle transformer including a core, a winding, a rectangular tankholding them, a cooling unitfor cooling a cooling mediumfilling the tank, and a circulating pumpfor forcibly circulating the cooling medium, a partition memberis provided for dividing an interior of the tankinto two and the partition memberdivides a channel of the cooling mediumflowing within the windinginto a first cooling medium channeland a second cooling medium channel, and both of the cooling medium channelsare communicated at one end side of the tankand the cooling unitconnected to both of the cooling medium channelsis provided at the other end for the cooling mediumto flow and circulate in the first cooling medium channeland the second cooling medium channel. Thereby, the connection between the tank and the cooling unit is simplified and a vehicle transformer reduced in size and weight is obtained.
