Measured blood pressure data is stored in a memory in association with information related to a measurement time. In response to manipulation of a manipulation portion (memory recall switch), blood pressure data associated with the measurement time within a prescribed time period (for example, 10 minutes) from the measurement time of reference blood pressure data, among the blood pressure data stored in the memory, is retrieved as specific data. Then, an average value is calculated based on the specific data, and the calculated average value is displayed as an evaluation index.

A blood pressure measurement device is mounted with a radio-controlled clock function in a main body without lowering reception performance of the standard radio wave of the radio-controlled clock. A substrate including a sensor mounting surface and a sensor non-mounting surface is mounted with a pressure sensor. An antenna for receiving the standard radio wave including time information of the radio-controlled clock is mounted. The antenna includes a bar-shaped magnetic body core and a coil wound around the magnetic body core. A pump is arranged such that an axis line direction of the motor and an extending direction of the magnetic body core are substantially orthogonal. The substrate and the substrate are arranged so that the sensor non-mounting surface of the substrate and the antenna mounting surface of the sensor face each other.

Blood pressure measurement device

A winding unit for an air tube provided to a blood pressure monitor includes a reel body rotatably supported by a case body, and a helical spring that biases the reel body in the direction in which the air tube is wound. The air tube includes a wound portion wound by the reel body, a fixed portion immovably fixed to the case body, and a freely movable portion that freely moves as the reel body rotates. The reel body has a housing containing the freely movable portion. A second free-movement end is disposed at an eccentric position relative to a rotational center of the reel body. The winding unit is thus configured to prevent bending of the air tube in the winding unit and to be downsized.

Blood pressure measuring device

A cuff for a blood pressure monitor has an air bag inflated/deflated as the air comes in/out. The air bag has an inner wall portion located on the inner side in the fitted state of the cuff and an outer wall portion located outer than the inner wall portion, and a side wall portion connecting side end portions of the inner and outer wall portions and folded inwards in the deflated state of the air bag to form a gusset at each side end portion of the air bag. A bonded portion is provided at a region of the air bag in its winding direction around the living body, for reducing expansion of the gusset formed by the side wall portion. Thus, occurrence of lateral displacement of the cuff is prevented, and a highly reliable blood pressure monitor of high performance can be obtained.

At the time of blood pressure measurement by an electronic blood pressure monitor, a calculation portion calculates a blood pressure based on a pressure within a cuff detected by a pressure sensor, and outputs blood pressure data. A data storing portion stores the blood pressure data in a memory in association with condition data indicating a condition concerning the blood pressure. A manipulation portion is manipulated by a user to designate a desired condition from among a plurality of conditions. When the manipulation portion is manipulated, a read and display portion searches the memory based on the condition designated by the manipulation, reads the blood pressure data associated with the designated condition from the memory, and displays the read data on a display portion.

Electronic blood pressure monitor and data processing apparatus

A blood pressure monitor includes a cuff having an air bag, a main-unit casing in which an inflation/deflation mechanism for inflating/deflating the air bag is provided, a flexible air tube connecting the air bag and the inflation/deflation mechanism, and a retractor unit capable of drawing in the air tube that is drawn out from the main-unit casing into an air tube housing provided in the main-unit casing. With this structure, the blood pressure monitor can be made superior in housing of the air tube connecting the cuff and the main-unit casing.

A cuff as a living body pressing apparatus provided for a blood pressure monitor as a living body information measuring apparatus includes an air bag and a curled elastic member wound annularly around an outer side of the air bag. The air bag has an engagement portion at each side end portion in the width direction. The engagement portion is folded along the end face of the curled elastic member toward the curled elastic member, and secured to the outer peripheral surface of the curled elastic member. With this configuration, it is possible to provide a living body pressing apparatus capable of preventing occurrence of lateral displacement, and a living body information measuring apparatus provided with the living body pressing apparatus.

A cuff for a blood pressure monitor is provided with an air bag including a first bag member located outside and a second bag member located inside in the thickness direction when fitted on a living body. The first and second bag members have first and second inflated/deflated spaces, respectively. The second bag member is formed by laying a single-layer resin sheet on the surface on the living body side of the first bag member and by melting and bonding its rim to the surface. A bonded portion of the first bag member with the resin sheet is positioned inner than each end in the width direction of the first inflated/deflated space. Thus, a cuff for a blood pressure monitor fabricated with ease and at low cost, exhibiting high pressing performance and high avascularization performance, and suitable for reduction of cuff width can be provided.

Cuff for blood pressure monitor and blood pressure monitor having the same

A cuff for a blood pressure monitor includes a cuff main unit wound around a measurement site of a living body, and a handle provided on the outer peripheral surface of the cuff main unit and gripped with a hand for fitting the cuff. The cuff main unit includes a cover member in which an air bag for pressing the living body and a curled elastic member wound annularly on the outside of the air bag and radially changeable in size are contained, and a diameter increasing/decreasing mechanism for increasing/decreasing a diameter of the curled elastic member. The handle has a push-button for increasing/decreasing the diameter of the curled elastic member by switching an operation of the diameter increasing/decreasing mechanism. This can provide a cuff for a blood pressure monitor permitting easy mounting/dismounting with respect to the measurement site of the living body.

According to a solenoid air valve, a flange portion of a moving core and a flange portion area of a bobbin implement a stop area defining a distance of travel of the moving core in a direction away from a fixed core. An end portion of a shaft portion of the moving core can project outward through an opening of a frame cover, so that a gap between a surface of the frame cover facing the shaft portion and a side surface of the shaft portion (distance: L) can be minimized. Consequently, a solenoid air valve having a structure allowing improvement in magnetic efficiency by making smaller the gap between the frame and the moving core is provided.

A moving core of a solenoid air valve has a flange portion arranged on a side of a fixed core, provided in a radially projecting manner and having a first diameter, and a shaft portion having a second diameter smaller than the first diameter. Therefore, a sufficient area of magnetic pole is ensured around a rubber packing in the flange portion of the moving core. Consequently, the solenoid air valve structured such that an area of magnetic pole is sufficiently ensured even if the moving core is made thinner in order to ensure a volume of a coil body in reducing the solenoid air valve in size can be provided.
