An ECU controls a motor including a first coil group and a second coil group. The ECU calculates a first torque command value and a second torque command value. The ECU uses a first differential torque, which is the difference between a first theoretical output torque and a first predictive output torque, to correct the second torque command value for the second coil group. The ECU uses a second differential torque, which is the difference between a second theoretical output torque and a second predictive output torque, to correct the first torque command value for the first coil group. The ECU uses a corrected first torque command value to control power feeding to the first coil group and uses a corrected second torque command value to control power feeding to the second coil group.

An image forming apparatus includes an apparatus body including a drive source, a rotary member, and a first coupling movable in an axial direction with respect to the rotary member, and a unit attachable to and detachable from the apparatus body, the unit including a second coupling configured to receive the driving force by engaging with the first coupling. The first coupling includes an abutted portion configured to be abutted with the abutting portion, and is configured to rotate in the first rotation direction together with the rotary member in a case where the abutting portion presses the abutted portion. The apparatus body further includes a first urging member configured to urge the first coupling in a second rotation direction opposite to the first rotation direction.

A steering control device includes a first control system and a second control system. The first control system includes and a first microcomputer. The first microcomputer is configured to compute a first command value for controlling power supply to a first coil and a second command value for controlling power supply to a second coil. The second control system includes and a second microcomputer. The second microcomputer is configured to compute the first command value and the second command value. The first microcomputer and the second microcomputer are configured to communicate the first command value and the second command value with each other. The cycle of communication between the first microcomputer and the second microcomputer is set to be equal to or shorter than each of the cycles of computations of the first command value and the second command value by the first microcomputer and the second microcomputer.

Steering control device

A steering system includes a prioritized torque sensor, a redundant torque sensor, a controller, a first signal line, a second signal line, and a common signal line. Each of the first signal line and the second signal line connects the prioritized torque sensor and the controller. The common signal line connects the redundant torque sensor and the controller. The prioritized torque sensor is configured to transmit, via the first signal line, a first prioritized detection signal. The prioritized torque sensor is configured to transmit, via the second signal line, a second prioritized detection signal. The redundant torque sensor is configured to transmit, via the common signal line, a first redundant detection signal and a second redundant detection signal.

Steering system

A motor control device includes a plurality of control units corresponding to a plurality of windings which is provided in a motor. The plurality of control units includes a master control unit, a slave control unit, and at least one abnormality monitoring unit. The slave control unit is configured to generate a power supply control command value using information which is acquired through a path other than communication between the control units and which is held for use in control of supply of electric power to the windings in a normal state in which an abnormality in communication between the control units is not detected and to perform backup control for holding the power supply control command value until the abnormality monitoring unit fixes an abnormality in communication between the control units after detecting the abnormality in communication.

Motor control device

A motor control device includes processing circuitry configured to calculate a current command value corresponding to torque that should be generated by a motor, divide the calculated current command value into individual current command values for coil groups, control power feeding to the coil groups independently for each of the coil groups based on a corresponding one of the individual current command values, set, for each one of the coil groups, an upper limit value of a corresponding one of the individual current command values and, when the individual current command value for any one of the coil groups is limited to a value that is smaller than a corresponding one of the upper limit values, supplement an amount limited in the individual current command value by increasing the individual current command value for at least a remaining one of the coil groups.

In a control device for a steering mechanism, the steering mechanism includes a motor that includes a plurality of coils. The plurality of coils include a first coil and a second coil. The control device includes a first control system and a second control system configured to compute a command value for torque of the motor to be applied to the steering mechanism. The first control system and the second control system are each configured to control power supply to the plurality of coils of the motor based on the command value. The first control system includes a first microcomputer that has first characteristics, and the second control system includes a second microcomputer that has second characteristics that are different from the first characteristics.

Attachment mechanism for electronic equipment for engine

A motor controller is configured to control a motor including a plurality of winding groups. The motor controller includes a plurality of processors. Each of the processors is configured to independently control supply of driving electric power to each of the winding groups. When an abnormality occurs in which a torque to be generated in one of the winding groups is smaller than an individual rated torque and when a target overall torque is larger than a total of the individual rated torque for the winding group in which the abnormality does not occur, the processor, controlling supply of driving electric power to the winding group in which the abnormality does not occur, out of the plurality of processors controls supply of the driving electric power such that the winding group generate a torque larger than the individual rated torque.

An image forming apparatus includes an intermediary transfer belt, first to third image bearing members, a driving member, and first and second drive transmission members, and includes first to third transfer positions. A first inter-transfer-position distance between the first and second transfer positions and a second inter-transfer-position distance between the second and third transfer positions are different from each other. The first inter-transfer-position distance is set at 'N&#xd7;A' and the second inter-transfer-position distance is set at 'N&#xd7;A&#xb1;N&#xd7;A/i', where N is an integer of rotations of the driving member during to movement of the belt in the first inter-transfer-position distance, A is a distance of movement of the belt when the driving member rotates through one full circumference, and i is a transmission ratio between the first and second drive transmission members.

Image forming apparatus

Provided is a steering control apparatus configured to suppress the occurrence of abnormalities in components in respective systems at the same timing. A first assist torque calculation circuit calculates a first command value and a second command value based on a steering torque. A first current feedback control circuit calculates a control signal by using the first command value. A second current feedback control circuit calculates a control signal by using the second command value. When the steering torque is equal to or smaller than a steering torque threshold, the first assist torque calculation circuit executes calculation so that the first command value is larger than the second command value. After the steering torque exceeds the steering torque threshold, the first assist torque calculation circuit executes calculation so that the first command value is equal to the second command value.

Steering control apparatus

A spool valve includes a spool in a spool insertion hole defined in a valve body. The spool is configured to be moved by an electric motor via a ball-screw to a first position where an input port is in communication with an output port, while the output port is not in communication with a drain port, and to a second position where the input port is not in communication with the output port, while the output port is in communication with the drain port.

There is provided a motor control device capable of preventing occurrence of a difference in command value between control systems and reducing torque ripples and noise and vibration of a motor, unlike in a case where a motor is controlled by control systems that are independent from each other. In a motor control device, at least one of parameters for a first control system is shared by both of the systems, and a first control calculation circuit and a second control calculation circuit calculate the assist command values based on the parameter. Thus, motor drive circuits of the control systems drive motor coils based on the assist command values. Namely, when the steering torques and the vehicle speeds for the control systems are all normal, assist control circuits of the control systems calculate the assist command values based on the steering torque and the vehicle speed.

To efficiently transmit drive through couplings on one and another sides during forward rotation and reverse rotation. When first and second couplings are brought into engagement with each other and rotated in a forward direction, first and third drive transmission surfaces are brought into contact with each other to be rotated in the forward direction while producing components of force in directions in which the first and second couplings are drawn to each other in the rotational axis direction. When the first and second couplings are brought into engagement with each other and rotated in a reverse direction, second and fourth drive transmission surfaces are brought into contact with each other to be rotated in the reverse direction without producing components of force in directions in which the first and second couplings are separated from each other in the rotational axis direction.

A wheel bearing apparatus has an outer member with a body mounting flange to be mounted on a knuckle that forms part of a suspension apparatus. An inner member includes a wheel hub and at least one inner ring. The inner ring is press fit onto a cylindrical portion of the wheel hub. Double row rolling elements are contained between double row inner raceway surfaces and double row outer raceway surfaces, respectively, of the inner member and the outer member. The outer member is adapted to be fastened to the knuckle through securing bolts. A vibration damping member is interposed between opposite surfaces of the body mounting flange of the outer member and the knuckle.
