First and second composite members each containing first discontinuous fibers of fiber length La, are placed such that end surfaces thereof face each other at an interval of first length LEnds of the first and second composite members are melted over a second length Lfrom the end surfaces. A connecting member containing second discontinuous fibers of fiber length Lb, is melted and placed to bridge a space between the ends, to form a stack. The stack is pressed, whereby the melted connecting member and the melted end portions flow into the space between the end surfaces to form a mixture portion. The mixture portion is cooled and solidified to produce a fiber-reinforced resin bonded body. Method for producing fiber-reinforced resin bonded body

Linking parts are formed on one end of a first resin composite member and on one end of a second resin composite member in order to bond the ends together. For example, the linking parts may be wavy parts containing concave portions and convex portions. In this case, the wavy parts initially are heated and softened. Then, in a molding unit, respective pairs of confronting convex portions are overlapped with each other, and respective pairs of confronting concave portions are utilized to form a non-overlapping space. The overlapped convex portions are pressed and crushed, such that a base thermoplastic resin and fibers contained therein flow toward the non-overlapping space. Thereafter, the thermoplastic resin is cooled and hardened, whereby the first resin composite member and the second resin composite member are bonded integrally to obtain a resin composite structure.

A rib of an airplane wing is prevented from deforming due to a machining load when machining a rivet hole in parts where the rib and a skin are joined. With regard to a rib that provides a connection between first and second spars of the airplane wing, the rib is formed with mounting flanges secured to a skin via a rivet, a stringer through hole for a stringer to be positioned through, and first and second cutouts facing parts where the first and second spars and the skin are connected. Since reinforcing beads are formed along the mounting flanges and reinforcing flanges are formed so as to extend in the span direction from the edges of the stringer through hole and the first and second cutouts and be connected integrally to the mounting flanges, the stiffness of the rib toward a load in the vertical direction when drilling a rivet hole can be enhanced.

Airplane wing structure

A plate material is formed into a height difference adjusting member having a J-shape such that its shim portion and resilient support portion are opposed to each other. The height difference adjusting member is mounted on a spar such that the shim portion and the resilient support portion are resiliently mounted to a flange of the spar. A rear end of a leading edge skin is fixed to the flange by a fastener in a state where the shim portion of the height difference adjusting member is interposed between the leading edge skin and the flange. The shim portion adjusts a difference in height between a front end of a main body skin and the rear end of the leading edge skin. Even if a large number of height difference adjusting members are mounted on the spar, the height difference adjusting members do not fall off and are not displaced.

A method for assembling a main wing having an upper skin and plurality of spars is disclosed. The front spar and rear spar are fastened to a back surface of the upper skin using an adhesive agent without using rivets, whereby the front surface of the upper skin becomes smooth.

The present invention provides a lens device provided on a lens barrel for a television camera, the lens device comprising: a master lens; a flange-back adjusting mechanism for moving the master lens forward/backward in an optical axis direction; a flange-back adjusting unit including the master lens and the flange-back adjusting mechanism, the flange-back adjusting unit being movable forward/backward in the optical axis direction; and a fixing member for fixing the flange-back adjusting unit on a predetermined position after the forward/backward movement.

A method of manufacturing an elliptic deep-drawn product including a first step of providing an intermediate product and a second step of providing an end product. In the first step, a rotary forming die is used to form in a blank a substantially round formed portion of a U-shaped cross-section. In the second step, the formed portion is deformed at its semicircular portion by press working to form an elliptic portion, being formed into a final shape.

It is an object to provide a blade member for an airplane which is simple in structure, and moreover is excellent with respects to weight, aerodynamic performance, cost, strength and durability. A vane of a double-slotted flap includes: an outer skin area surrounded by a first outer skin, a second outer skin, a leading edge and a trailing edge each having a predetermined wall thickness. Front and rear reinforcing areas are provided that extend in a span direction within the outer skin area and are connected to the first outer skin and the second outer skin. The outer skin area and the reinforcing areas are integrally formed by wire electrical discharge-machining. The first outer skin and the second outer skin respectively have thickened portions thicker than the other portions, and the trailing edge is formed to have a thickness which is approximately zero. This blade member can be simplified in structure, leading to reductions in the number of parts, number of assembling steps and weight. Moreover, no step nor seam is generated on a surface of the blade member, and hence it is possible to prevent an increase in drag and the generation of corrosion.

The highly stable crystal oscillator comprises; a thermostat mainframe which maintains the temperature of a crystal resonator including a resonator container for sealing a crystal piece constant, an oscillating element which constitutes an oscillation circuit together with said crystal resonator, a temperature control element which controls the temperature inside of said thermostat mainframe, and a circuit board mounted with said thermostat mainframe, said oscillating element, and said temperature control element. The construction is such that a heat generating chip resistor and a highly heat sensitive element having a higher temperature dependency, among said oscillating element and said temperature control element, are arranged on one principal plane of said circuit board, and said heat generating chip resistor, said highly heat sensitive element, and said thermostat mainframe are directly heat bonded by a thermo-conductive material.

Oven controlled crystal oscillator for high stability

A workpiece assembly jig is provided with a plurality of first brackets provided around the perimeter of an aluminum jig main body for mounting thereon and assembling a long aluminum workpiece. A plurality of second brackets are provided around the perimeter of a steel jig base and are connected together via connecting members having first and second male threaded portions extending in opposite directions from a middle flange. The first male threaded portion of the connecting member is screwed into a female threaded portion formed in the second bracket, and the second male threaded portion runs through a long hole formed longitudinally (perpendicular to the plane of the paper) in the first bracket which is secured between the flange and a nut.

Workpiece assembly jig

A dimpling device is provided with a slide rod, a first workpiece holder, and a second workpiece holder. The slide rod is slidably fitted around a center pin running through rivet holes. The first workpiece holder is slidably and detachably fitted around the slide rod. The second workpiece holder is detachably fixed to the center pin. The first and second workpiece holders have holding surfaces with curvatures that have been preselected to conform to the curvatures of the surfaces of workpieces. The slide rod has a punch and the second workpiece holder has a die. When the workpieces are held together by the holding surfaces, a nut is rotated to move the punch into a cooperative relationship with the die, thereby dimpling the surroundings of the rivet holes.
