Hematopoietic inhibiting factor containing compositions

The present invention is implantation materials comprising an anti-thrombogenic material contained in the surface in contact with blood, of a porous substrate with its voids filled with denatured albumin or a biodegradable polyester. Since they are excellent in anti-thrombogenic property and allow the positive introduction of cells into the implantation materials, they can prevent thrombogenesis for long periods of time. Especially even if they are used as artificial small diameter blood vessels of less than 6 mm in inner diameter, they show excellent patency.

Implantation materials

A photographic film cassette, having a spool with a slit therein, in which a film trailer is anchored. Abutting walls are formed on the inside of the slit so as to receive the end of the film trailer, and transmit the rotation of the spool to the roll of film. The film trailer anchored on the spool core is guided by a guide portion on the spool core to be wound smoothly in contact with the surface of the spool core. In a preferred embodiment, the spool consists of two spool pieces. A shaft portion of the external spool piece is inserted in that of the internal spool piece. The film trailer is inserted and anchored between the shaft portions which are fitted together.

This invention provides method and membrane for hemodialysis which has a total protein permeability of not more than 0.2%, and has a reduction rate of .beta..sub.2 -microglobulin of not less than 5%. The hemodialysis membrane of the present invention selectively removes .beta..sub.2 -microglobulin which was shown to cause some long-term complications such as carpal tunnel syndrome in the patients undergoing hemodialysis, while preventing the leakage of useful proteins.
