Disclosed is a surface-treatment solution for producing a zinc or zinc alloy coated steel sheet with a surface-coating layer that does not contain a chromium compound in the surface-coating layer and that is excellent in all of heat discoloration resistance, heat cracking resistance, planar part anti-corrosion property, corrosion resistance after alkali degreasing, blackening resistance, stack blackening resistance, anti-water stain property, solvent resistance, perspiration resistance, coating adhesion property, and storage stability. The disclosed surface-treatment solution contains a glycidyl group-containing silane coupling agent (A), a tetraalkoxysilane (B), a zirconium carbonate compound (C), and an anionic polyurethane resin (D) having a glass transition temperature (Tg) of 80&#xb0; C. to 130&#xb0; C., a vanadium compound (E), a molybdic acid compound (F), and water, the surface-treatment solution having a pH of 8.0 to 10.0, and the amount of each component satisfying a predetermined relationship.

A presser presses a pressed object and includes a first rotation shaft and a pressurizing portion that is supported by the first rotation shaft and pivots about the first rotation shaft. A depressurizing portion is supported by a second rotation shaft and pivots about the second rotation shaft with respect to the pressurizing portion. The depressurizing portion includes an engagement. An interlock lever includes an opening that engages the engagement. The depressurizing portion pivots to switch between a pressurization state in which the engagement contacts and presses the opening to cause the pressurizing portion to press the pressed object and a depressurization state in which the pressurization state is released. The depressurizing portion pivots to define a gap between the engagement and the opening in a moving direction in which the engagement moves.

An attachment is attached to a holding shaft and includes a first hollow axial portion including a first slit that receives the holding shaft. A supplemental member includes a second hollow axial portion including a second slit that receives the holding shaft. The supplemental member rotates in a forward direction and a backward direction. A restrictor restricts rotation of the supplemental member in the forward direction and the backward direction in a state in which the first slit and the second slit receive the holding shaft.

A presser presses a rotator and switches between a pressurization state in which the presser presses the rotator and a depressurization state in which the presser releases the pressurization state. The presser includes a pressure portion that presses the rotator in the pressurization state. The presser further includes a retracted portion that retracts from the pressure portion in a retracting direction in which the retracted portion retracts from the rotator. The retracted portion presses the rotator in the depressurization state.

A fixing device includes a fixing rotator, a pressure rotator configured to press the fixing rotator, a fixing structure, a temperature detector, a discharger, and a holder. The fixing structure is configured to hold at least one of the fixing rotator and the pressure rotator. The temperature detector is configured to contact a detected member that is at least one of the fixing rotator and the pressure rotator and detect a temperature of the detected member. The discharger is configured to contact and discharge the detected member. The holder is fixed on the fixing structure and configured to hold the temperature detector and the discharger.

An image forming apparatus includes a pressing device, an apparatus body, an opening body, and a vibration insulator. The pressing device housed in the apparatus body is configured to press a pressing body to a pressing target body. The opening body is configured to open and close to the apparatus body. The opening body presses a pressing target portion of the apparatus body, at a first pressing portion to cancel a pressing state of the pressing device by opening of the opening body and at a second pressing portion to enter the pressing state of the pressing device by closing of the opening body. The vibration insulator is provided on at least one of the pressing target portion and the second pressing portion, at a contact portion at which the pressing target portion contacts the second pressing portion when the first pressing portion cancels the pressing state.

A zinc-based metal plated steel sheet is excellent in tribological properties during press forming. An oxide layer containing crystalline 3Zn(OH)&#xb7;ZnSO&#xb7;xHO is formed on a plated surface. The oxide layer has a thickness of 10 nm or more. The crystalline oxide layer is composed of 3Zn(OH)&#xb7;ZnSO&#xb7;3-5HO.

A sheet conveying device, that can be included in an image forming apparatus, includes a first conveying unit to convey a sheet in a first direction, a second conveying unit disposed on a downstream side of the first conveying unit to convey the sheet in a second direction, and a first path formed between the first and second conveying units. At least the second conveying unit has a holding section to hold and convey the sheet. The sheet conveying device further includes a belt conveying unit disposed along an outer side of the first path and includes a belt to convey the sheet toward the holding section. The belt is stretched around a first belt holding and rotating member and a second belt holding and rotating member disposed on an upstream side of the second conveying unit in the second direction.

A first eccentric cam and a second eccentric cam rotate to press down the recording sheet tray. A driving force switch member drives the recording sheet tray moving mechanism when a driver rotates in a first direction, and rotates a feed roller driving shaft mounted with the feed roller when the driver rotates in a second direction.

A disclosed sheet conveying apparatus includes a first conveying unit configured to convey a sheet in a first sheet conveying direction; and a second conveying unit arranged on a downstream side of the first conveying unit in the first sheet conveying direction and configured to convey the sheet conveyed by the first conveying unit in a second sheet conveying direction different from the first sheet conveying direction. At least the second conveying unit acts as a holding/conveying unit with a holding section to hold and convey the sheet and includes a moving/guiding unit arranged along an outer side of a sheet conveying path extending between the first conveying unit and the second conveying unit. The moving/guiding unit moves/guides the sheet toward the holding section of the second conveying unit, and is arranged in a discontinuous manner along a sheet width direction orthogonal to the first sheet conveying direction so as to contact at least one part of the sheet in the sheet width direction.

A sheet feed device includes a sheet tray and a guide unit. The sheet tray is configured to store a recording medium including a recording sheet. The guide unit is configured to support detachably the sheet tray. The guide unit includes a rotary member that is configured to contact an outer bottom surface of the sheet tray while contacting an outer side surface of the sheet tray, and rotate with mounting and detachment of the sheet tray.
