Painting facility

The facility includes a first connection mechanism connecting a filter unit to a floor discharging section to establish communication between an opening portion of the floor discharging section and an upper face opening portion of the filter unit and a second connection mechanism connecting the filter unit to an exhausting chamber to establish communication between an opening portion of the exhausting chamber and a side face opening portion of the filter unit. The first connection mechanism includes a seal portion that comes into contact with an entire circumference of an outer face of an upper end portion of the filter unit, thus preventing leakage of exhaust gas. The seal portion includes an introducing portion for introducing the upper end portion of the filter unit to the seal portion from a horizontal direction.

Leaking of high-temperature gas inside a furnace to the outside of the furnace via a furnace body opening portion and entry of normal-temperature air outside the furnace into the furnace via the furnace body opening portion are effectively prevented. A central vent that forms an airflow curtain in a target object passage region of a furnace body opening portion and left and right side vents that form airflow curtains respectively in gap regions between the target object passage region and left and right side walls of the furnace body opening portion are provided as vents for forming airflow curtains, an airflow fa for forming an airflow curtain blows from the central vent toward the inner side of the furnace diagonally downward at an inclination angle that is smaller than 40&#xb0; relative to a horizontal direction, and airflows for forming airflow curtains blow from the left and right side vents vertically downward or toward the inner side of the furnace diagonally downward at an inclination angle that is larger than 60&#xb0; relative to the horizontal direction.

Coating drying furnace

Distribution of a precoat agent is made uniform in a target gas directing to a filter. To this end, an intake opening of a filter device is formed as a slit-like or rectangular opening extending in a width direction. An accumulation recess is formed in an upper edge portion of the intake opening to have a profile that opens downward as viewed from a longitudinal direction of the intake opening. The accumulation recess is continuously formed in the longitudinal direction of the intake opening. A precoat agent nozzle is provided in a longitudinal predetermined position of the intake opening for ejecting the precoat agent and carrier gas toward an inner depth surface of the accumulation recess.
