There is disclosed a laser processing method including moving a mask and a work with respect to each other while emitting a pulse laser a plurality of times, and moving the mask and the work with respect to each other to form respective laser irradiated regions disposed adjacent to one another by irradiating the work with the pulse laser transmitted through openings formed in positions different from one another on the mask, so that boundaries of the laser irradiated regions disposed adjacent to each other contact at least each other.

Laser processing method and apparatus

A print head includes an orifice plate having a plurality of orifices arranged as ink-jet nozzles, and a head body partitioned into a plurality of ink chambers and integrated with the orifice plate such that ink is guided from the ink chambers to the orifices, for increasing an internal pressure of each ink chamber to eject ink from a corresponding orifice. Particularly, each orifice has a constriction for restricting an ink-jet error angle to a range of &plusmn;5 mrad with respect to a center axis thereof.

Method of producing a printer head

A mobile telecommunication station which is connected to a mobile telecommunication network and is provided with a mobile telecommunication service from the network, providing a function enabling unit (for example a voice coding unit) with a function which is masked in advance and is enabled by release of the mask and a masking control unit for watching predetermined air interface information (for example a broadcast information) from the mobile telecommunication network and releasing the mask of the function enabling unit according to an instruction, in extended information elements thereof, for releasing the mask. A mobile telecommunication station which is connected to a mobile telecommunication network and is provided with a mobile telecommunication service from the network function enabling unit (for example a voice coding unit) is provided with a function masked in advance, and is enabled by release of the mask and a masking control unit. A timing error detecting circuit detects a timing error of a measurement objective circuit by reading an input data in synchronism with rising or falling of a timing signal and outputting a first output data as a result of the process. The timing error detecting circuit includes a specification insertion circuit for providing an allowable specification value of a delay period relative to the timing signal, a signal processing detecting portion reading the first output data of the measurement objective circuit in synchronism with rising or falling of output of the specification insertion circuit and performing similar process to the measurement objective circuit for outputting a second output data, and a judgement circuit inputting the first and second output data of the measurement objective circuit and the signal processing detecting portion and making judgement of the timing error of the measurement objective circuit in synchronism with rising or falling of the specification insertion circuit. Thus, the timing error detecting circuit makes judgement of occurrence of timing error by the judgement circuit when a signal having the equal level to the data signal input to the measurement objective circuit is not input in synchronism with rising or falling of the output of the specification insertion circuit.

A disc brake including a pair of friction pads disposed on opposite sides of a rotatable disc, a cliper straddling a portion of the circumference of the disc and incorporating therein an actuator for applying the friction pads against the disc, a stationary holder slidably mounting thereon the caliper, and a pad spring interposed between the caliper and the friction pads for biassing the friction pads in the radially inward direction with respect to the disc. The pad spring comprises two engaging portions which respectively extend in the direction of the axis of the disc for engaging with respective friction pads, and there are provided relief portions respectively between either one of the friction pads and either one of the engaging portions of the pad springs so that either one of the friction pads solely engaging with the other of the engaging portions.

Disc brake

A disc brake including a caliper member slidably supported on a stationary member, at least one pin provided on either of the caliper member and a stationary member, and a guide member mounted on the other of the caliper member and the stationary member and slidably engaging with the pin. A guide portion provided on the other of the caliper member and the stationary member and detachably mounting the guide member. The guide member can be detached from the guide portion by displacing the guide member in a direction transverse to the axis of the pin.

A disc brake comprising a holder secured to a nonrotatable part of a vehicle, a first pin secured to the holder and extending in the opposite direction therefrom with one end portion straddling the circumference of a rotatable disc, a second pin secured to the holder and extending in the direction separating from the disc, a pair of friction pads on the opposite sides of the disc, a caliper slidably supported on the second pin and the other end portion of the first pin, and a third pin mounted on the caliper and spaced from the first pin in the direction of the circumference of the disc and supporting one ends of the friction pads, the other end of at least one of the friction pads being slidably supported on the first pin. The present invention enables reduction of the size and the weight of the holder. Further, the pad replacing operation can easily be performed without releasing the connection between the caliper and the holder.

A friction pad for use in disc brakes and is formed of a sintered metal. A recess is formed in a surface of the friction pad which engages with a disc in applying the brake, and is embedded by a resin.
