A tuner section is provided on one surface of a multilayered substrate, and a demodulating section on another surface of the multilayered substrate. The multilayered substrate further includes: an analog GND layer connected to the tuner section; a digital GND layer connected to the demodulating section; a shield GND layer which is provided between the analog GND layer and the digital GND layer; and insulation layers each provided (i) between the analog GND layer and shield GND layer, or (ii) between the digital GND layer and shield GND layer so as to electrically disconnect the shield GND layer from the analog GND layer and the digital GND layer. This allows the tuner section and the demodulating section to be respectively arranged on different surfaces of the substrate, for the purpose of downsizing of the receiving device, and yet allows the tuner section from being influenced by a harmonic signal generated in the demodulating section.

Receiving device

Dispersing directions of oscillation frequency variable ranges of all voltage controlled oscillators provided in an integrated circuit are uniformed, and not only a range covering a frequency regardless of whether a dispersion occurs or not, but also a range covering the frequency only in a case where the dispersion occurs is used as the frequency variable range of the voltage controlled oscillator, and the frequency variable ranges of the voltage controlled oscillators are set so as to be successive with respect to each other, so that a small number of voltage controlled oscillators can cover a wide frequency variable range. Thus, the integrated circuit having voltage controlled oscillators therein is miniaturized.

Integrated circuit and receiving device

An AGC amplifier circuit has a fixed-gain amplifier, of which the gain is not controlled by an AGC voltage, and a variable-gain amplifier, of which the gain is controlled by the AGC voltage, that are connected in parallel. When the AGC voltage is within a predetermined voltage range, the overall gain of the AGC amplifier circuit is varied by the variable-gain amplifier; however, when the AGC voltage is outside the predetermined voltage range, the overall gain is kept constant by the fixed-gain amplifier. The minimum gain of the AGC amplifier circuit is set to be equal to the gain of the fixed-gain amplifier.

A variable frequency filter circuit, provided with a low pass filter constituted of a gm amplifier, is a low pass filter circuit in which a micro controller controls a current value converting circuit so as to adjust a reference current of the low pass filter in order to adjust a cut-off frequency. When the variable frequency filter circuit is in an adjusting mode, the variable frequency filter circuit detects a shift in a cut-off frequency of the low pass filter for filtering an actual signal. As to a dynamic change in a power supply voltage, ambient temperature or the like, which cannot be detected in real time, a value of the shift can be worked out in advance and with accuracy via simulation. Therefore, the shift is compensated in accordance with the value stored in a data memory. This requires no need of an arrangement to have a separate reference filter for detecting a shift for compensation of the shift, thereby eliminating an influence the arrangement. Therefore, this suppresses influence due to relative unevenness of circuit elements as to circuit layouts, reduces electrical consumption, and prevents an interference signal from reaching to a received signal.

A smaller oscillator module enables oscillation frequency to be adjusted from the back after assembly is finished. The oscillator has oscillator circuit components mounted on the front of a circuit board having an internal dielectric layer, a back conductor layer covering a major part of the back of the circuit board, and at least a part of an inductor element of the oscillator circuit disposed internally with a part of an intervening dielectric layer from the back conductor layer. A slit or pinhole is formed in the back conductor. The oscillation frequency can then be adjusted after assembly is completed by emitting a trimming laser through this slit or pinhole to change the inductance by partially removing the dielectric layer and inductor element.

As a result, in the case where editing of data is carried out on an active window referring to a window which is not an active window, the window to be referred to and the window to be edited are both clearly recognized without carrying out a complicated operation.
