A protrusion is formed on a first part of an inner-cabin side wall of an installation base member of a protector with a sensor. The first part is closer to a connecting wall than a second part opposite the first part. The protrusion is on a virtual line in cross section. The virtual line is where convex substances, keys for example, hanging on passengers' clothes conceivably pass through. The virtual line extends toward a connecting point from a rear part of an automobile body closer to an interior of the automobile body than a reference line. The reference line is parallel with a direction in which a flange protrudes and extends from the connecting point. The connecting point is a part of an inner-cabin side end of a hollow part closest to an interior of the automobile body. The inner-cabin side end is connected with the installation base member.

Protector with sensor

A seal structure mounted to an attachment stage of a car door panel comprising a weather strip and a dasher seal. The attachment stage includes a horizontal wall part at a lower end of the door panel and a vertical wall part provided continuously from the horizontal wall part at the lower end of the door panel. The weather strip has a base part that is attached to the horizontal wall part and a hollow part that elastically contacts a body panel of the car. The dasher seal has a base part that is attached to the vertical wall part and contacts the weather strip and a lip part that elastically contacts the body panel.

A beltline weather strip accommodated in a door panel for elastically contacting a door glass plate and for sliding the door glass plate comprises a base which is substantially parallel to the door glass plate with a cored bar embedded therein, a solid lip protruding from the upper door glass plate side surface of the base, and a hollow lip protruding from the lower door glass plate side surface of the base, wherein the upper side of the hollow lip is curved inwardly at the root end portion thereof and outwardly at the tip end portion thereof, forming an S-shaped curved upper side as a whole, and a ratio between the curvature radius Ra of the inwardly curved root end portion of the upper side of the hollow lip and the curvature radius Rb of the outwardly curved tip end portion thereof is set in the range of Ra: Rb=1:2.5 to 1:3.5. As a result, it is possible to provide a beltline weather strip being excellent in slidability to be superior to prior art by 20-30% while being equivalent thereto in lip reaction force.
