A communication device in one aspect of the present disclosure includes a storage, a first wireless communication circuit, an information obtaining circuit, and a storing processing circuit. The first wireless communication circuit receives first information through an antenna. The first information is wirelessly transmitted from a first transmission device. The first information corresponds to the first transmission device. The first transmission device is configured to be connected to an electric work machine or is connected to the electric work machine. The information obtaining circuit obtains the first information through the first wireless communication circuit in response to a first event being occurred or having occurred. The storing processing circuit stores the first information from the information obtaining circuit into a storage.

A high-pressure pump has a metering valve and a valve stopper. The stopper has a regulation portion which an end surface of the valve is brought into contact with. An outer diameter of the regulation portion is equal to an outer diameter of the outer peripheral surface of the valve. A cylindrical sleeve is disposed around the regulation portion. When the end surface of the valve is in contact with the regulation portion, the sleeve covers a tapered surface of the valve.

High-pressure pump

A high-pressure pump includes a pressurizing chamber forming portion, a suction passage forming portion, a seat member, a valve member, a cylindrical member, a needle, a movable core, a biasing member, a fixed core, and a coil including a winding portion. The coil generates an attractive force between the fixed core and the movable core when the winding portion is energized. The coil includes an outer cylindrical surface and multiple inner cylindrical surfaces that have different diameters. The multiple inner cylindrical surfaces are arranged in order of increasing diameter in a direction toward a pressurizing chamber. The movable core has an end surface that faces the fixed core, and the end surface of the movable core is located between a center, in an axial direction, of a smallest diameter one of the plurality of inner cylindrical surfaces and a center, in an axial direction, of the outer cylindrical surface.

In one aspect, the present disclosure discloses a charging system including a battery pack and a charger. The battery pack includes a first battery pack terminal, a second battery pack terminal, and a third battery pack terminal. The second battery pack terminal is spaced apart from the first battery pack terminal in an intersecting direction. The intersecting direction intersects a removal direction of the battery pack from the charger. The charger includes a first charger terminal, a second charger terminal, and a third charger terminal. The second battery pack terminal is arranged so as to pass through an area spaced apart from the third charger terminal in a process of removing the battery pack from the charger.

A battery pack in one aspect of the present disclosure includes a communication terminal and a detector, and supplies electric power to an external device. The communication terminal receives a first signal, a second signal, and a third signal. The first signal has a first potential, the second signal has a second potential, and the third signal has a third potential. The first potential, the second potential, and the third potential are different from one another. The detector determines a potential at the communication terminal, to thereby detect the first signal, the second signal, or the third signal in accordance with the determined potential.

Technique of determining first, second, and third potentials at communication terminal of battery pack

A valve seat has an inner passage and outer passages. A suction valve member has first passages and a first projection portion that guides, to the first passages, the fuel that flows from a pressure chamber at the time of valve opening. Therefore, an action force by the dynamic pressure applied to the suction valve member in the valve closing direction is reduced. An action force by the pressure of fuel that flows into pressure equalization grooves counterbalances the action force by the dynamic pressure of the suction valve member. Therefore, self-closing by the dynamic pressure can be inhibited, and the maximum output of an electromagnetic driving unit can be reduced. Fuel flows through a passage radially outside the suction valve member and the first passages. A fluid passage area is securable even when a lift amount of the suction valve member is small.

Valve device and high pressure pump using the same

A high-pressure pump includes a plunger, a cylinder, a pressuring chamber, a pump body, a main fuel chamber, an auxiliary fuel chamber and a return passage. The cylinder slidably houses the plunger therein. The pump body houses the cylinder and has an end surface on an opposite side of the pump body relative to the pressurizing chamber in an axial direction. The main fuel chamber is in the pump body. The auxiliary fuel chamber has a side defined by one end of the cylinder on an opposite side of the cylinder relative to the pressurizing chamber. The return passage is inside the pump body and is in fluid communication with an external cooling unit. Fuel leaking out from the pressurizing chamber through a clearance between the cylinder and the plunger is collected inside the auxiliary fuel chamber, and the collected fuel flows toward the external cooling unit through the return passage.
