At an electric pump, a first gasket is interposed between a stator and a motor housing, and a supporting member, and a second gasket is interposed between the supporting member and a substrate housing. Further, the electric pump has a first snap-fit structure that assembles the stator to the supporting member, a second snap-fit structure that assembles the motor housing the supporting member, and a third snap-fit structure that assembles the substrate housing to the supporting member.

Electric pump

A seal member of a driver apparatus contacts a case and a first frame end. The seal member has an opening in which a lead wire is inserted and an inside wall surface of the opening contacts the lead wire. Further, the seal member is made of a stretchable material, and is held in position only by a binding force between the case and the first frame end. The seal member is fixedly held by the first frame end and the case after an insertion of the lead wire in the opening and disposition on the fixing member opposing face. Therefore, an installation of the seal member is performed by an inserting the lead wire into the opening and a positioning the seal member on the case.

Driver apparatus provided with a motor and a control unit

A motor drive apparatus includes a rear end frame between a motor case and a control unit case. A shaft of a motor unit is supported rotatably by a bearing fixed to the rear end frame. A first socket-spigot fitting surface formed on the rear end frame is fitted with a second socket-spigot fitting surface formed on a heat sink. A rotation angle sensor mounted on a control unit substrate attached to the heat sink is provided on the rotation axis of the shaft. The rotation angle sensor can thus accurately detect the magnetic field of a magnet provided at the end of the shaft.

Motor drive apparatus

A rotational position sensing apparatus includes a rotational position sensing magnet and a fixing member. The fixing member is made of a non-magnetic material and is fixed to a rotatable shaft of a rotor. The fixing member includes a plurality of projections, which radially inwardly project and are arranged one after another in a circumferential direction at an inner peripheral surface of a first peripheral wall portion within a space, which is defined by the first peripheral wall portion and a bottom wall portion and holds the rotational position sensing magnet.

Rotational position sensing apparatus

A rotating electric machine has a first frame and a second frame disposed at one axial end of a casing. The first and second frames have a first flange and a second flange, respectively, that protrude outwardly from the casing. The first and second flanges are fastened together by a through bolt. The first flange includes a recessed portion having a first curved portion, a second curved portion, and a third curved portion. A curvature radius of the third curved portion is greater than a curvature radius of the first curved portion and a curvature radius of the second curved portion such that a concentration of stress within the third curved portion that is caused by a fastening force of the through bolt may be reduced.

Rotating electric machine

It is an object to provide a driving apparatus, which can be easily mounted to vehicles of different models. A circuit unit for controlling an operation of an electric motor is fixed to an axial end of a motor casing. A connector holding unit, which is integrally formed with a heat sink of the circuit unit, is composed of a first and a second arm portions and a connecting portion to form a connector accommodating space in such a radial outside position of the motor casing. The connector accommodating space extends in an axial direction of the motor casing. An inside connector unit is inserted into the connector accommodating space. The inside connector unit has a connector-insert hole into which an outside connector (a vehicle-side connector) is inserted for electrical connection.

Driving apparatus

A drive unit has a motor, a control unit, and a fastener. The motor is housed in a motor case, and includes a stator, a rotor, and a shaft. The stator has winding wires that are wound therein and are electrically coupled to motor wires. The rotor is disposed inside of the stator and the shaft is disposed in and coupled to the rotor, such that the rotor and shaft rotate, as one, within the stator. The control unit includes a semiconductor module with a switching element, a connection terminal that electrically couples the switching element with other devices, and a control unit case to house the semiconductor module. The fastener is disposed in the control unit case, such that the fastener couples the motor and the control unit, and electrically couples the motor wire and the connection terminal.

Drive unit

A motor includes a stator having a winding wire wound thereon, a rotor, and a shaft. The motor is housed in a motor case, where the motor case has a cylinder part and a bottom part. A first terminal is disposed on the motor case, and has one end coupled to an end of the winding wire, such that the wire passes through a first opening on the bottom part. A controller case is disposed detachably on the bottom part. The controller case has a controller housed therein, and has a second terminal that has one end electrically coupled to a power module and the other end engages with the first terminal to electrically couple the motor and the controller. A terminal holder is attached on the motor case to hold and support the first terminal.

Drive unit terminal holder

It is an object to provide a driving apparatus, according to which a control unit can be detachably connected to a motor unit in a condition that electronic circuits are not exposed to an outside of a housing. The electronic circuits are accommodated in the housing. A first connecting member is supported by a holder unit, which holds a motor terminal connected to a winding of a stator of the motor unit. A second connecting member is attached to the housing from the outside thereof, in such a way that a circuit-board terminal connected to the electronic circuits and the motor terminal are interposed between the first and second connecting members. As a result, the circuit-board terminal and the motor terminal are mechanically and electrically connected to each other.

A drive unit used in an electric power steering device has a motor and a control unit. A motor wire of the motor has a terminal, which is engaged with a power board side terminal of the control unit to electrically couple the motor and the control unit. In such structure, the motor and the control unit may be electrically coupled and decoupled, without the use of a special tool. Further, a terminal holder is disposed on an opening of the motor by a first short protrusion and a second short protrusion, thereby coupling the terminal to the motor.

Drive unit with motor and control unit

A drive device includes a motor, a control unit and a holder. The motor has a motor case, a stator, a winding wire, a rotor and a shaft. The control unit includes a semiconductor module, a receiving member, and a cover. The control unit is arranged on a side of the motor in an axis direction of the motor. The holder is arranged between the motor and the control unit, and has a wall portion extending toward the control unit and fitting with the control unit.

Drive device

A motor includes a motor case, and a rotor and a stator, which are disposed in the case. The case has a tubular portion, a front cover mounted to an axial end of the portion, and a rear cover mounted to the other axial end of the portion. The rotor has a rotary shaft and the stator includes a plurality of teeth, which extend toward a central axis of the shaft and are circumferentially disposed at equal intervals. Between each circumferentially adjacent pair of the teeth, a slot extending toward the axis is formed. In each slot, a U-shaped segment is inserted in parallel with the axis. The distal ends of the segments projecting out from the slots are electrically interconnected, thereby forming an SC coil including the segments disposed circumferentially. The SC coil includes a receiving terminal, and the terminal includes leads extending in parallel to the axis.

Motors containing segment conductor coils

A drive device includes a motor, a control unit, a first fastener, and a second fastener. The control unit is arranged on a side of the motor in an axis direction of the motor. The first fastener is arranged in a wall part of a cylindrical motor case of the motor opposing to the control unit, on an inner side of a peripheral wall of the motor case in a radial direction. The second fastener is tightened with the first fastener so as to connect the motor and the control unit with each other.

A drive unit includes a motor disposed in a motor case, a controller, disposed in a controller case, and a lever. The lever includes a supported portion that is fitted on a support of the controller case in a rotatable manner, a first action point at a first distance from the supported portion, and a second action point at a second distance from the supported portion. When the lever rotates from a close state toward an open state according to an application of a first force to the first action point, the second action point abuts on a specific part on the motor case, thereby generating a second force from the second action point to the specific part in a parallel direction of the axis of the motor case, with its reaction force reversely applied from the supported portion to the support as a third force.

Drive unit with controller case including lever

A power module for supplying driving current to coils wound on a stator of an electric motor and a heat sink for absorbing heat generated at the power module are provided at an axial outside of a motor casing. An intermediate member is provided between the motor casing and the heat sink. The intermediate member has a bottom plate portion fixed to an axial end plate of the motor casing and a cylindrical side wall axially extending from the bottom plate portion. An outer peripheral surface of the heat sink is in contact with an inner peripheral surface of the cylindrical side wall, so that the power module fixed to the heat sink is arranged in a space, which is within a range smaller than an outer diameter of the motor casing.
