A corrugated tube having a tube shape is provided with a tubular member configured to contain a conductor path, a first bellows portion, a second bellows portion, and a straight portion. The first bellows portion and the second bellows portion include recessed grooves extending in a circumferential direction of the tubular member and projection strips extending in the circumferential direction of the tubular member. The recessed grooves and projection strips are alternately arranged in a longitudinal direction of the tubular member. In the first bellows portion and the second bellows portion, a pitch which is a distance from one of the recessed grooves to a next recessed groove through one of the projection strips is set as a first distance and a second distance which is longer than the first distance.

A corrugated tube made of resin includes outer grooved portions and outer ridged portions which are formed in a circumferential direction when the corrugated tube is seen from the outside. The outer grooved portions and the outer ridged portions continuously alternate in a tube-axial direction. Inner ridged portions and inner grooved portions are formed on an inner surface of the corrugated tube so as to respectively conform to the shapes of the outer grooved portions and the outer ridged portions. A cushioning portion is formed on the inner surface of the corrugated tube, and has hardness softer than that of a covering outer surface of one or multiple conductive paths accommodated in the corrugated tube.

A thin plate-like switch unit comprises a board having a plurality of contacts, and a sheet-like rubber contact member superposed on the board, the rubber contact member having convex switch portions for opening and closing the plurality of contacts, respectively. A discharge characteristics calculation section reads voltage, current, and temperature from a voltage sensor, a current sensor, and a temperature sensor, respectively, and determines the approximated discharge characteristics at a given time based on a position relationship of the discharge characteristics curved surface function V=a.multidot.log(H.sub.0 -H)+b.multidot.H+c to voltage-temperature-duration of discharge axes. A duration of discharge characteristics calculation section determines the duration of discharge from a fully charged state to the present based on the approximated discharge characteristics. A remaining capacity calculation section determines the remaining capacity based on the approximated discharge characteristics.

The present invention is directed to a display apparatus which can display information well and does not compromise the feel of a helmet in which the display apparatus is incorporated. The helmet has a front opening formed therein and has a transparent shield mounted thereon so as to cover the front opening. The display apparatus incorporates a display unit disposed on the inner side of the helmet for displaying information thereon. Display light from the display unit is reflected toward a visual point position by an inner face of the shield so that an observer visually observes a virtual image of the display information of the display unit from within the helmet through the shield. The display unit is disposed on the inner side of a chin portion of the helmet so as to not to create any obstruction to the observer.

A wire harness mounting structure for a motor vehicle door comprising a door frame and planar mounting means, detachably attached to said door frame at an internal side of its motor vehicle, having a wire harness mounted thereon and extending in a plane generally parallel to the door frame. The mounting means is either in the form of a covering board, or a combination of the covering board and an internal side board mounted between the vehicle door frame and the covering board, and, is either integrally formed with the covering board or independently, rigidly formed as in the case of an internal side board. The wire harness is terminated at the hinge mounting end of the door frame in a bundled leading-out portion which in one embodiment is fixed to the door frame by a waterproof grommet which surrounds the leading-out portion and is supported in a groove formed in the hinge mounting end of the frame at a corner portion defined by the inner side surface of the door frame and the hinge mounting end of the frame.

An indication display unit for a vehicle, includes a reflecting device having a reflecting surface directed to a driver's seat which reflecting surface has a reduced reflectivity. An indicating device having an indicating surface directed to the reflecting surface of the reflecting device. Operational information concerning driving operation of the vehicle is indicated on the indicating surface of the indicating device, and is reflected on the reflecting surface of the reflecting device to be visibly observed by a driver. As the reflectivity of the reflecting surface is reduced, the visibility of the displayed image from the indicating surface may be improved. Since the reflecting device is provided on a dashboard, and the indicating device is located at any position other than the dashboard, a meter hood may be removed to ensure more space in the dashboard. The reflecting device is composed of a reflecting plate and a frame for supporting the reflecting plate, which is preliminary curved with a relatively good accuracy. In constructing the reflector, the reflecting plate is cured by forcibly following the curvature of the frame, thereby easily obtaining a curvature of the reflecting plate with a relatively good accuracy.

Indication display unit for vehicles

An automotive display system for a vehicle comprises a display having a display screen, a reflecting mirror disposed with its reflecting surface facing the display screen of the display, and a prism disposed between the display and the reflecting mirror. Light rays emanated from the display enter the prism through a first surface of the prism, are transmitted through the prism and fall on the reflecting surface of the reflecting mirror and are reflected by the reflecting mirror. The light rays reflected by the reflecting mirror travel along a path coinciding with or nearly coinciding with the path of travel of the light rays incident on the reflecting surface of the reflecting mirror and are reflected again by the second surface of the prism toward the driver's eye. The light rays travel from the second surface of the prism to and from the reflecting mirror through a comparatively long optical path in a relatively small space for effective remote displaying. Thus, the automotive display system can be formed in a compact construction.
