A wireless communication device includes: a wireless communicator and a communication controller. When the wireless communicator does not receive an ACK signal corresponding to first data from the destination wireless communication device after transmitting the first data, the communication controller causes the wireless communicator to retransmit the first data, and, when the wireless communicator receives an ACK signal corresponding to first data from the destination wireless communication device after transmitting the first data to the destination wireless communication device, the communication controller causes the wireless communicator to transmit second data that is subsequent to the first data to the destination wireless communication device at a timing at which a prescribed time period has elapsed after transmitting the first data or after receiving the ACK signal, the prescribed time period corresponding to a period of an interference wave produced due to an interference device operating has elapsed.

A communication device and a communication scheme judgment method that enable reception of frames of different communication schemes without setting a common synchronization signal in the frames for each communication scheme. A signal including synchronization information corresponding to a communication scheme is receivable via a frequency band within which a frequency band of a channel corresponding to a first communication scheme overlaps with at least a portion of a frequency band of a channel corresponding to a second communication scheme. Using the synchronization information, when synchronization of one communication scheme out of the first communication scheme and the second communication scheme is establishable, processing of the signal is performed using the one communication scheme, and when the synchronization of the one communication scheme is not establishable and synchronization of the other communication scheme is establishable, processing of the signal is performed using the other communication scheme.

Communication device and method of determining communication method

A network in which two or more communication schemes coexist, in which a wireless control device identifies a communication scheme of a frame transmitted by a wireless terminal device, making reception possible. The wireless control device, upon detecting a receive signal strength of receive data, determines a signal strength at a non-overlapping frequency band of each communication scheme and thereby judges the communication scheme of the receive data.

The determining unit shortens the length of the active period when the preferential data generating unit generates the 2-type data, and a preferential data period is set in an ex-active period obtained by the shortening of the active period, the preferential data period being a period during which the 2-type data is transmitted. The transmitting unit transmits the 2-type data to the terminal during the preferential data period.

A wireless communication system includes a wireless terminal and a plurality of base stations that can communicate with each other via a predetermined communication path that is different from the wireless communication path to the wireless terminal. The wireless terminal transmits a request signal to one of the base stations to request a response signal from another base station. Upon reception of the request signal transferred from the one base station, the second base station transmits a response signal to the wireless terminal via the predetermined channel. The wireless terminal receives the response signal transmitted from the second base station via the predetermined channel.

Furthermore, a likelihood calculation unit calculates a likelihood indicating a degree of certainty for each transmission stream using the weight matrix generated by the weight generation unit, and an adaptive control unit determines a transmission rate appropriate for transmission of a signal from a transmitter to the receiver in accordance with the likelihood of each transmission stream calculated by the likelihood calculation unit, notifying the transmitter of the determined transmission rate.
