An image forming apparatus comprises an exposure unit forming an electrostatic latent image on a photo conductor based on image information, a developing unit developing the electrostatic latent image by toner made of formation material of a circuitry layer, and an electrostatic transferring unit transferring a toner image on the photo conductor onto a substrate. The toner image is transferred so as to cover at least a part of a conductor layer formed on the substrate. At this time, excessive charges caused in the conductor layer accompanying the start of the transfer of the toner image are removed. Alternatively, charges of which polarity is reverse to that of the toner are added to the conductor layer. These allow the circuitry layer to be formed to have a desired pattern favorably and securely on the conductor layer.

An image forming apparatus comprises an exposure unit forming an electrostatic latent image on a photoconductor based on image information, a developing unit developing the electrostatic latent image by toner made of formation material of a circuitry layer, and an electrostatic transferring unit transferring a toner image on the photoconductor onto a substrate. According to an embodiment of the present invention, a method of producing an electronic circuit comprises printing first metal-containing resin particles which consist of at least a thermosetting resin and fine metal particles and second metal-containing resin particles which consist of at least a thermoplastic resin and fine metal particles by electrophotography to form a first base pattern which consists of the first metal-containing resin particles and a second base pattern which consists of the second metal-containing resin particles on a substrate; forming a first metal conductor layer on the first and second base patterns; forming a second metal conductor layer on the first metal conductor layer by electrolytic plating by supplying electric current to the first metal conductor layer; and removing the second base pattern and the first and second metal conductor layers which are formed on the second base pattern.

A portable facsimile equipment in which document data to be transmitted can be displayed on an LCD display. When it is desired for a communication module to transmit document data obtained through a document module or a scanner module, the document data to be transmitted can be displayed on the LCD display. When it is desired to display image data read out by a scanner and stored in a RAM on the LCD display; the image data having a resolution of 8 lines/mm read out by the scanner and stored in the RAM is converted to data having a resolution of 3 lines/mm for display thereof on the LCD display. Further, the communication module performs its communication with a wired line through a modular connector provided at a side of an LCD board, and the received information is displayed on the LCD display. The LCD display is provided to the LCD board which covers the portable facsimile equipment body having a keyboard mounted thereon, and the information read out by the scanner for reading of information of an original document is displayed on the LCD display.

An electrophotographic apparatus including an electrically conductive brush roller for recovering and discharging a residual toner and removing paper dust which is located in contact with a photoreceptor drum. A positive voltage is applied to a transfer roller, whereupon the toner is charged positively. As a recording region on the photoreceptor drum with an electrostatic latent image formed thereon passes the brush roller, a voltage of a potential lower than the potential of the recording region is applied to the brush roller, and the brush roller recovers the residual toner. As a non-recording region on the photoreceptor drum without the latent image thereon passes the brush roller, on the other hand, a voltage of a potential higher than the potential of the non-recording region is applied to the brush roller, and the recovered toner is discharged onto the non-recording region. The discharged toner is returned to a developing roller after a charging process.
