A silver halide color photographic photosensitive material having, on a support, at least one layer of a blue sensitive emulsion layer unit containing a yellow color forming coupler, a green sensitive emulsion layer unit containing a magenta color forming coupler, and a red sensitive emulsion layer unit containing a cyan color forming coupler, wherein 70% or more of the projection area of the entire silver halide grains has at least one layer of a silver halide photographic emulsion layer containing silver halide grains satisfying the following (a) to (c), and (1) the photosensitive material contains at least one inter-image effect providing layer, or (2) the photosensitive material contains a compound represented by the following Formula (I): (a) the material comprises a tabular silver halide host grain with an aspect ratio of 5 or more having two principal surfaces parallel with each other and a protrusion portion of silver halide epitaxially joined onto the surface of the tabular silver halide host grain, (b) the silver iodide content is 70 mole % or more both in the tabular silver halide host grains and the protrusion portion, and (c) the ratio of the silver amount of the protrusion portion to the silver amount of the tabular silver halide host grain is 12% or less

A silver halide color photosensitive material is disclosed, which has on a support at least one photosensitive silver halide emulsion layer, wherein at least one nondiffusible compound represented by the following formulas (I), (I-1), or (I-2) is contained to inhibit generation of color stain and color fog and to ensure excellent keeping quality: ##STR1## wherein Y.sup.1 represents atoms completing a phosphorus-containing heterocyclic ring; and ##STR2## wherein R.sup.1 represents an aryl group or a heterocyclic group; R.sup.2 represents an alkyl group, a cycloalkyl group, an aryl group (formula (I-2)), a heterocyclic group (formula CI-2)), an alkoxy group or an aryloxy group; A.sup.1 and A.sup.2 each represent a hydrogen atom or a hydrolyzable group; G represents a carbon atom or a phosphorus atom; X represents an oxygen atom or a sulfur atom; and R.sup.3 represents an alkyl group, a cycloalkyl group, an aryl group, or a heterocyclic group.

A silver halide color photographic material is disclosed, wherein it comprises a support having thereon one or more constituent layers including at least one silver halide emulsion layer, wherein at least one hydrophilic colloid layer of said constituent layers contains a coupler represented by the following formula (M) or formula (I) and at least one hydrophilic colloid layer of said constituent layers contains a compound represented by the following formula (H): ##STR1##

A silver halide color photosensitive material is disclosed, which has on a support at least one photosensitive silver halide emulsion layer, wherein at least one nondiffusible compound represented by the following formula (I) is contained to inhibit generation of color stain and color fog and to ensure excellent keeping quality: ##STR1## wherein R.sup.1 represents an aryl group or a heterocyclic group, R.sup.2 represents an alkyl group, a cycloalkyl group, an alkoxy group or an aryloxy group, R.sup.3 represents an alkyl group, a cycloalkyl group, an aryl group or a heterocyclic group and X represents an oxygen atom or a sulfur atom; provided that R.sup.3 does not represent a phenyl group when R.sup.2 represents a phenoxy group. ##STR2## wherein R'.sup.1 represents an aryl group or a heterocyclic group; A'.sup.1 and A'.sup.2 each represents a hydrogen atom or a hydrolyzable group; X represents an oxygen atom or a sulfur atom; and Y.sup.1 represents atoms completing a phosphorus-containing heterocyclic ring. ##STR3## wherein R'.sup.1 represents an aryl group or a heterocyclic group; R'.sup.2 represents an alkyl group, a cycloalkyl group, an aryl group, a heterocyclic group, an alkoxy group or an aryloxy group; A'.sup.1 and A'.sup.2 each represent a hydrogen atom or a hydrolyzable group; G represents a carbon atom or a phosphorus atom; X represents an oxygen atom or a sulfur atom; when G represents a carbon atom, m is 2 and n is 0; when G represents a phosphorus atom, m is 2 and n is 1, or m is 3 and n is 0; and two or three R'.sup.1 N(A'.sup.1)N(A'.sup.2)-- groups may be the same or different. A compound represented by the formula (I-1) or (II-1) is also disclosed.

A silver halide color photographic light-sensitive material includes red-, green- and blue-sensitive silver halide emulsion layers, and a non-light-sensitive layer, and contains a dye of the following formula (I). The emulsion layer or the non-light-sensitive layer contains a yellow coupler of the following formula (1) or (2), or an acylacetamide type yellow coupler having an acyl group of the following formula (Y): ##STR1## where X and Y represent an electron attractive group, or when coupled with each other, XY represents an acidic nucleus, Ar represents a phenyl group or a heterocyclic group, and L.sup.1, L.sup.2 and L.sup.3 represent a methine group, ##STR2## where X.sub.1 and X.sub.2 represent an alkyl group, an aryl group, or a heterocyclic group, X.sub.3 represents an organic group which forms a nitrogen-containing heterocyclic group together with &gt;N--, Y represents an aryl group or a heterocyclic group, and Z represents a split-off group, ##STR3## where D.sup.1 represents a monovalent group, and Q represents a non-metallic atomic group required to form, together with the C, a 3- to 5-membered hydrocarbon ring or a 3- to 5-membered heterocyclic ring.

Silver halide color photographic light-sensitive material

There is disclosed a silver halide color photographic light-sensitive material capable of providing a color image which does not discolor for a long period of time and having a high preservation property. The light-sensitive material contains a novel anti-fading agent represented by following Formula (I): ##STR1## wherein R.sub.1 represents a hydrogen atom, an aliphatic group, an aromatic group, a heterocyclic group, or an aliphatic oxy group; R.sub.2 and R.sub.3 may be the same or different and each represent an aliphatic group, an aromatic group, and a heterocyclic group; R.sub.4 represents a substituent; R.sub.5, R.sub.6, R.sub.7, R.sub.8 and R.sub.9 each represent a hydrogen atom and a substituent; R.sub.2 and R.sub.3, R.sub.3 and R.sub.4, and R.sub.4 and R.sub.2 may be combined with each other to form a 5- to 8-membered ring, and a dimer or other polymer may be formed with R.sub.1, R.sub.2, R.sub.3 and R.sub.4 ; R.sub.5 and R.sub.6, R.sub.6 and R.sub.7, R.sub.7 and R.sub.8, and R.sub.8 and R.sub.9 may be combined with each other to form a 5- to 8-membered ring; provided that R.sub.5, R.sub.6, R.sub.7, R.sub.8 and R.sub.9 each does not represent an unsubstituted amino group or an unsubstituted carbamoyl group, R.sub.5 and R.sub.9 each do not represent an aliphatic oxy group, and any one of R.sub.2, R.sub.3 and R.sub.4 does not form a ring with R.sub.5, R.sub.6, R.sub.7, R.sub.8 or R.sub.9.

Silver halide color photographic material containing an anti-facing agent

A silver halide color photographic material comprising a support having thereon at least one light-sensitive silver halide emulsion layer, at least one layer of the material containing the combination of a water-insoluble homopolymer or copolymer which has an amido bond in the repeating unit and at least one compound represented by formula (I): ##STR1## wherein X represents an alkyl group, an alkoxy group, an aryloxy group, an alkylthio group, an arylthio group, an amido group or a sulfonamido group; R.sup.1 and R.sup.2, which may be the same or different, each represents an alkyl group, an alkoxy group, an aryloxy group, an alkylthio group, an arylthio group, an amido group, a sulfonamido group, hydrogen, a halogen atom, a sulfo group, a carboxyl group, a carbamoyl group, a sulfamoyl group, an acyl group or a sulfonyl group, provided that R.sup.1 and R.sup.2 may be linked to form a carbocyclic ring; and Y represents a hydroxyl group or a sulfonamido group.

Color photographic material with water insoluble amido bond polymer

A novel silver halide color photographic material is provided which comprises at least one colored coupler represented by the general formula (I) and at least one cyan coupler represented by the general formula (II), (III), (IV) or (V): ##STR1## wherein R.sub.1 represents an aromatic or heterocyclic group; R.sub.2 represents a group capable of being substituted on a naphthol ring; R.sub.3 represents an aliphatic, heterocyclic or aromatic group; R.sub.4 represents an aromatic group excluding p-cyanophenyl group; R.sub.5 represents an aromatic or heterocyclic group; R.sub.6 represents an aliphatic group; n represents an integer of 0 to 4; m represents an integer of 0 to 3; A--B--N.dbd.N--D represents a group which is eliminated upon coupling; A represents a divalent group whose bond to the carbon atom at the coupling active position of the coupler is cleaved upon the reaction with an oxidation product of a color developing agent; B represents a divalent aromatic or heterocyclic group; D represents an aromatic or heterocyclic group; Y represents a hydrogen atom or a group which is eliminated upon coupling; and X represents --O--, --S-- or ##STR2## in which R.sub.7 represents a hydrogen atom or an organic substituent group, with the proviso that when n and m each represents a plural integer, R.sub.2 may be the same as or different from each other or may be bonded to each other to form a ring. In the general formula (V), R.sub.2 and X or X and Y may be bonded to each other to form a ring. R.sub.1, R.sub.2, R.sub.3, R.sub.5, R.sub.6, R.sub.7, X or Y may form a dimer or higher polymer. In the general formula (I), at least one of the groups represented by A, B and D has sulfo groups, carboxyl groups, or alkali metal or ammonium salts thereof as substituent groups.

Silver halide photographic material

A silver halide color photographic material is described, which comprises a support having provided therein at least a blue-sensitive emulsion layer, a green-sensitive emulsion layer and a red-sensitive emulsion layer, with the blue-sensitive emulsion layer comprising at least two layers differing in sensitivity, one of which is the highest sensitive emulsion layer containing at least one yellow-dye-forming coupler represented by the general formula (I), and the other of which is the lowest sensitive emulsion layer containing at least one yellow-dye-forming coupler represented by the general formula (II), whereby a yellow dye image having high maximum density and excellent in sharpness, graininess and light fastness can be produced: ##STR1##

Silver halide color photographic material

A silver halide color photographic material comprising a support having thereon at least one silver halide emulsion layer, wherein the silver halide color photographic material contains at least one yellow dye-forming coupler represented by the formula (I) ##STR1## wherein R.sub.1 represents a substituted or unsubstituted tertiary alkyl group or a substituted or unsubstituted aryl group; R.sub.2 represents a chlorine atom or an alkoxy group; R.sub.3 represents a straight chain or branched chain alkyl group having from 8 to 26 carbon atoms; R.sub.4 represents a branched alkyl group having from 3 to 12 carbon atoms; and R.sub.5 represents a hydrogen atom or a halogen atom. The yellow dye-forming coupler represented by the formula (I) is excellent in solubility, dispersion stability and spectral absorption characteristics, has a good coupling reactivity which is not severely influenced by variations in pH of the color developing solution, and provides a yellow color image having high color density and excellent stability. A method for forming a yellow dye image in the presence of the yellow dye-forming coupler represented by the formula (I) is also disclosed.
