A scroll compressor includes a pair of spiral plate bodies between which a compression chamber that compresses refrigerant is formed; a support configured to support one of the spiral plate bodies; a plurality of refrigerant paths extending through the support so as to provide communication between the compression chamber and an outside of the scroll compressor; and a plurality of check valves each of which is provided in the support for a corresponding one of the refrigerant paths, wherein each of the plurality of check valves includes a valve element and a valve chamber in which the valve element is accommodated, and at least one of the check valves is placed at a position away from a rest of the check valves in a rotation axis direction of the scroll compressor such that the valve chambers of the check valves do not interfere with each other.

A vehicular braking force control apparatus includes a solenoid valve disposed between a master cylinder and the suction side of a hydraulic pump. A ripple absorption low-pressure reservoir is provided between the solenoid valve and the suction side of the hydraulic pump. The low-pressure reservoir is partitioned, by a partition member, into an operation liquid portion that communicates with an auxiliary suction passage and an air portion where air exists. A spring member for pressing the partition member toward the operation liquid portion side is provided in the air portion.

Vehicular braking force control apparatus

A scroll-type fluid displacement apparatus includes a first and a second scroll, each having an end plate and a spiral wrap extending from one side of the end plate. The spiral wraps interfit at an angular and radial offset to make a plurality of line contacts which define a pair of fluid pockets. A driving mechanism is operatively connected to the first scroll to orbit the first scroll relative to the second scroll while preventing rotation of the second scroll, to thereby change the volume of the pair of fluid pockets. Sealing elements are disposed in the axial ends of the spiral wraps for sealing a central portion of fluid pockets defined by the spiral wraps. Thus, the axial sealing of fluid pocket formed between the orbiting and fixed scroll is more secure in all process from the suction to the discharge stage. Further, the volumetric efficiency of the compressor increases.
