Shafts are fixed to a base and extend in a direction parallel to a center axis of a through hole of the base. Two yoke arrangements are installed to the shafts. A lens holder frame holds a lens, which has an optical axis parallel to the central axis of the through hole of the base. The lens holder frame is axially placed in a space between the two yoke arrangements and is swingably supported by a plurality of wire springs, which are fixed to the base. Drive coils are fixed to the lens holder frame and generate a drive force to move the lens holder frame.

A sheet made from a foamed polystyrene resin which is heat-shrinkable in one axial direction and has a heat-insulatingness is prepared. A printing process is applied to this sheet to produce a label. A container made from a thermo-plastic resin is covered with said cylindrical label and is put in a furnace in order to heat-shrink the label to be fitted on the container. The container with the label manufactured in accordance with the present invention has a superior heat-insulatingness, and thus can maintain the temperature of water contained therein for a longer time. Also, when it is used in a electronic-range, a temperature of an outer wall surface of the container can be prevented from increasing, and thus the container can be held by a bare hand even immediately after cooking.

Method for manufacturing a thermoplastic container with a label

Thermoplastic polyimide foams are provided which essentially consist of recurring units represented by the formula (I): ##STR1## wherein X is a bond, divalent hydrocarbon radical having from 1 to 10 carbon atoms etc. and R is an aliphatic radical having 2 or more carbon atoms, cycloaliphatic radical etc. The foams have an apparent density of from 0.02 to 0.2 g/cc, average cell diameter of 0.1 to 1 mm and a closed cell content of 50% or more.
