A rotary spinning ring structure for use on a spinning frame or the like comprises, as principal components, a stationary tube fixedly supported on a ring rail, a slide ring, a rotating tube assembly supported for rotation by the slide ring on the stationary tube, and a balancing mechanism incorporated into the rotating tube assembly. The rotating tube assembly comprises a rotating tubular body made of an antistatic synthetic resin material, a circular brake ring made of an antistatic synthetic resin material and joined to the rotating tubular body, and a dust cover made of an antistatic synthetic resin material and put on a middle portion of the rotating tubular body. Each of the antistatic synthetic resin materials forming the rotating tubular body, the brake ring and the dust cover is a mixture of a synthetic resin, and fibers, powder or flakes of a conductive material, such as carbon and has a low volume resistivity.

Rotary spinning ring structure

A spinning ring structure (10) for twisting a fleece into a yarn and taking up the yarn on a bobbin (82) comprises a stationary ring (20) fixedly mounted on a ring rail (74), a rotary ring (30) disposed for rotation about its own axis inside the stationary ring (20) coaxially therewith so as to surround the bobbin (82) disposed with the stationary ring (30). A traveler (50) is put on the rotary ring (30) so as to revolve along the circumference of the rotary ring, and a brake ring (60) is mounted on the rotary ring (30) and provided with a plurality of radial vanes (68) to which air applies resistance against the turning of the brake ring. The brake ring (60) is provided with an air pressure evading wall (64) for avoiding the influence of a pressure generated by whirling air currents produced by the rotating cop, on the brake ring (60) to prevent retardation of the variation of the rotational speed of the rotary ring according to the variation of the effective circumferential speed of the cop built on the bobbin during a cop building operation so that a balloon formed by the yarn will not expand and will not collapse.

Spinning ring structure with an aerodynamic brake member

A spinning ring structure for use on a spinning frame comprises a stationary ring fixedly held in place, a rotary ring fitted in the stationary ring coaxially with the stationary ring so as to rotate about its center axis and provided with an annular flange at its upper end, a traveler put on the flange of the rotary ring for traveling along the flange to guide a yarn to a bobbin disposed coaxially with the rotary ring. Openings are formed through a neck portion of the rotary ring, whereby flies produced during the spinning operation by friction between the yarn and the traveler are discharged outside the spinning ring structure through the openings due to centrifugal force.

In an apparatus for cleaning a spinning frame provided with a plurality of draft units, a plurality of cleaning units, each provided with an element for creating an air suction force, are disposed adjacent to and below the alignment of draft units in such a manner that each cleaning unit is able to suck flys deposited around a group of the draft units, a main duct is disposed adjacent to and below the alignment of the cleaning units and extended for entire length of the spinning frame, and a filter box is connected to a terminal end of the main duct, each cleaning unit is connected to the main duct, and the main duct is provided with an element allowing a passage of a part of air discharged from each cleaning unit, except at the cleaning unit located farthest from the filter box, whereby the air suction force created by each cleaning unit can be maintained at a uniform value, this apparatus is also provided with an element for cleaning files deposited on the bottom of the main duct, at predetermined intervals, to maintain the function thereof.

In the high speed driving of a ring spinning frame provided with a plurality of ring-spinning twisting-winding units, to compensate for the possible loss of thickness of yarn produced, when the drive speed of the spindles reaches more than a predetermined rotation speed, such as 16,000 rpm in the case of spinning a cotton yarn of 40's, a total draft ratio of each drafting part of the ring spinning frame is regulated to maintain the expected yarn count according to a predetermined compensation program.
