In an electric power-feeding structure for feeding an electric power from an electric power-supply terminal to electric power-receiving portions located at different positions, which comprises a main feeder assembly connected to the electric power-supply terminal and comprising a plurality of main line sections and a plurality of junction means respectively interposed between respective mutually adjacent main line sections and a plurality of branch feeder lines respectively connected, at their respective one ends, to a plurality of the electric power-receiving portions and, at their respective other ends, to the respective main line sections, the improvement in which said plurality of junction means each comprising at least one printed circuit board provided with first and second connecting portions and at least one third connecting portion and said main line sections comprise at least one flat type cable with flat connector means and are successively connected by cooperation of said first and second connecting portions with said flat connector means, said at least one third connecting portion being connected to a flat connector means secured to the end of each of said branch feeder lines. The present structure can be simply constructed and effective for exactly feeding an electric power to the differently-positioned power-receiving portions.

Electric power-feeding structure

A flat type cable suspension structure comprises a horizontally disposed holder member having a first retaining means, a keeper member having a second retaining means and a flat type cable firmly held therebetween by clamping. The first retaining means and the second retaining means cooperate with each other to crook flat type cable so that the cable can be firmly retained in the present suspension structure. The present cable suspension structure can be constructed in a compact form, thereby facilitating installation of an elevator cable assembly within a limited spacing between the side wall structure of a hoistway and an elevator cage. Further, by the use of the present suspension structure, the cable assembly can be installed adjustably in horizontal and vertical directions.

Flat type cable suspension structure

An improvement in a flat type cable suspension structure which comprises a support structure comprising an upper support member and a lower support member vertically spaced from the upper support member and fixedly secured with respect to the ground, and a flat type jacketed cable extending crosswise with the support structure. The flat type cable extends downwardly through the spacing between the upper and lower support members toward said lower support member in such a manner that one face of the cable has a portion abutting against the rear side of the upper support member and the other face of the cable has a portion abutting against the front side of said lower support member. An exposed extension stemming outwardly from a tension member buried in the jacket of the cable is securely hooked over and held in a tightly suspended state on a hanger member provided on the front side of the upper support member. The cable suspension structure can effectively prevent sway and swing of the flat type cable assembly so that it can maintain a stable suspension over a prolonged period of time.

A flat type feeder cable comprising an even number of stranded conductors and an outer jacket made of a flexible material wholly covering the stranded conductors, each of said stranded conductors being composed of a plurality of insulated cores stranded together, and wherein an equal number of the stranded conductors are disposed in a symmetrical relationship, characterized in that the direction of lay of each of the stranded conductors of half the number is right-hand while the direction of lay of each of the remaining stranded conductors is left-hand, and each of the plurality of insulated cores constituting each stranded conductor has one twist by one pitch of the stranding of the stranded conductor, said twist having the same direction as the direction of the stranding of the stranded conductor. The flat type feeder cable has excellent bending characteristic (flexibility), torsion resistance, compactness, resiliency and installing workability, and is useful espeically as a feeder cable for moving constructions such as elevators travelling in a limited space.
