There is provided a functional panel that can be joined and disassembled with ease by solving problems with a functional panel including electrical conductors integrally molded therewith, causing occurrence of cracking on the surface thereof, or cracking of a molded unit around the periphery of the electrical conductor, thereby rendering the electrical conductor susceptible to a break when a flexural load, an impact load, and so forth, acts on the functional panel. The functional panel comprises a main body of a panel member, an electrical conductor coated with a semi-cured resin having heat resistance and insulation properties, and a reinforcing fiber having a continuous filament, for fixing the electrical conductor to the main body of the panel member to thereby provide enhancement, and the functional panel is formed by exposing one end, and the other end of the electrical conductor from respective end faces of the panel member formed by integral molding.

Functional panel and method for joining same

A rotor structure is to be provided which can diminish stress concentration in teeth-wedge fitting portions located near magnetic poles of a rotor in a rotary electric machine. Teeth have slant faces for abutment against slant faces of wedges to retain the wedges in a fitted state between adjacent teeth, the wedges having slant faces each formed at a predetermined angle relative to the radial direction of a rotor , and a circular arc is formed at each slant face rising position in the teeth . In this case, the radius of the circular arc formed at each slant face rising position in a preset number of teeth located near magnetic pole portions of the rotor is set larger that of the circular arc formed in the remaining teeth.

Rotor with slot wedges having different dimension to reduce stress

When molding reinforced fiber layers of a creepage block which is in contact with a field winding in a rotor of a rotary electric machine, a layer containing organic fibers made from polybenzoimidazole, polyparaphenylenebenzobisoxazole, aromatic polyamide, polyarylate, and aromatic polyester is integrally molded on that side of the creepage block which is for contact with a field winding. The rotor thus formed stabilizes a slippage between the field winding and the creepage block caused by thermal expansion of the field winding in the rotor during the operation and thereby minimizes the amount of bending of a rotor shaft.

Rotary electric machine

Provided is a rotating electric machine in which the cooling capacity is improved by increasing the width and depth of a gas vent groove,formed in a creepage block,and in which a fracture is prevented near the face of the creepage block,abutting against a magnetic winding,of the creepage block,fabricated from a resin material containing reinforcing fibers. The reinforcing fibers of the creepage block,fabricated from a resin material containing reinforcing fibers are continuously disposed to form straight lines and curved lines along the contour of the gas vent groove, whereby the area of interlayer slip face,subjected to a shearing force acting on the creepage block due to a temperature change of a rotor,is increased and the shearing force per unit a slip area is decreased, thereby to prevent a shearing slip fracture near the face of the creepage block,abutting against the magnetic winding

Rotating electric machine

A superconducting magnet includes a superconducting coil, an inner tank for containing the coil, a shield plate for covering the inner tank, and an outer tank for accommodating the superconducting coil, the inner tank and the shield plate. The inner tank is supported on the outer tank by a load support member and the outer tank forms a vacuum vessel. At least one of the inner tank, the load support member, the shield plate and the outer tank includes a detection arrangement for detecting abnormality and/or deterioration of the inner tank, load support member, shield plate and outer tank associated with the respective detection arrangement.
