A power supply apparatus includes a battery pack for a motor vehicle, and a power interface part that connects the battery pack and a plurality of electrical devices. The power interface part includes a battery-side connector, and a branch connector apparatus. The branch connector apparatus includes a joining part for connection lines, a fuse, a housing, and a connector. A guided part is provided on an outer side surface of the housing. The battery pack includes a slot part allowing the branch connector apparatus to be inserted and extracted. The battery-side connector is provided in the slot part. A guiding part extending along an insertion and extraction direction is provided on an inner side surface of the slot part. The guided part is guided along an extension direction of the guiding part by the guiding part.

Power supply apparatus and branch connector apparatus

A power supply apparatus includes a battery pack for an electric vehicle, and an interface unit that couples the battery pack and a plurality of electrical devices. The interface unit includes a branch connector provided with a coupling unit and a plurality of fuses. The coupling unit allows coupling wires to join. Each of the coupling wires is coupled to a corresponding one of electrical devices. Each of the plurality of fuses is disposed in a corresponding one of coupling wires. The interface unit also includes a battery pack connector that is able to be coupled to the branch connector. In a state in which the branch connector is coupled to the battery pack connector, the power supply apparatus is configured to be able to supply electric power from the battery pack to each of the plurality of electrical devices via the coupling unit.

Power supply apparatus

An electric component connection mechanism of a fuel cell stack includes a fuel cell stack body, terminal plates, end plates, and a housing. A plurality of fuel cells that generate electricity by electrochemical reaction of a fuel gas and an oxidant gas are stacked in the fuel cell stack body. The terminal plates are disposed on both ends of the fuel cell stack body in a stacking direction of the fuel cells. The end plates are stacked on the terminal plates on the sides opposite to the fuel cell stack body. The terminal plates include terminals that penetrate through and protrude out of the end plates. The terminals are connected to high-voltage cables. Moving mechanisms that support the terminal plates while allowing the terminal plates to advance and retreat in the stacking direction with respect to the end plates are provided.

Electrical component connection mechanism of fuel cell stack and fuel cell stack

In a case of a power distribution branch unit used in a vehicle or the like, one end of a branch wiring is connected to an exposed part of a main covered cable (a part where a core wire is exposed without an insulation cover). Branch couplers are connected to the other ends of the branch wiring and fixed to the case so as to be exposed to an outside. At least one retainer is disposed inside a hole part that is formed in the case and fixes the main covered cable.

Power distribution branch unit and vehicle

A vehicle includes a first power distribution branch unit disposed between an energy storage device and a power conversion device and configured to branch current from the energy storage device and supply the current to the power conversion device and an electric auxiliary machine. A travel motor and the power conversion device are supported by a sub frame. The energy storage device is supported by a main frame. The first power distribution branch unit is fixed to a part of a vehicle body that is different from the sub frame or the main frame (for example, fixed to a dashboard).

Vehicle

A power converter includes: a refrigerant flow channel member in which a refrigerant cooling an electronic device flows; a flat refrigerant pipe portion stacked with a power module, provided for a refrigerant cooling the power module to flow therein, and including a contact surface portion contacting the power module to exchange heat; an inlet pipe portion that is disposed at one end of the refrigerant pipe portion and through which the refrigerant flows to the refrigerant pipe portion; an outlet pipe portion that is disposed at the other end of the refrigerant pipe portion and through which the refrigerant flows from the refrigerant pipe portion; an inlet connection portion connecting the inlet pipe portion to the refrigerant flow channel member and formed of a tubular elastic member; and an outlet connection portion connecting the outlet pipe portion to the refrigerant flow channel member and formed of a tubular elastic member.

Power converter

An electrical connection structure includes a first conductor, a second conductor, and a conductive spring. The first conductor includes a first plate. The second conductor includes a second plate opposite to the first plate. The conductive spring is provided between the first plate and the second plate so as to be pressed by the first plate and the second plate. The conductive spring includes a plurality of first contact points contacting with the first plate and a plurality of second contact points contacting with the second plate.

Electrical connection structure, terminal structure, and vehicle

Disclosed is a vehicle wiring structure that uses a power cable to connect a power source and an electrical load disposed, inside a vehicle, with a space therebetween in the vehicle front-to-back direction. The vehicle wiring structure is provided with a metal pipe () which is disposed on vehicle floor under surface (), between a position below where the power source is installed and a position below where the electrical load is installed, and two ends of which are inserted into the vehicle, and a power cable that is inserted through the metal pipe () and connects the power source and the electrical load. The metal pipe () is provided slanting from the two ends toward a bottommost part (), in the vertical direction, and the bottommost part () is heated by heat released from CAT ().

Vehicle wiring structure

A vehicle wiring structure equipped with a pipe (), the two ends of which are inserted into the vehicle through an electrical-load-side through-hole and a power-source-side through-hole provided in the floor, and power cables (), which are inserted in the pipe () and connect a power source and electrical loads. The power cables pulled out of the end part of the pipe () inserted through the power-source-side through-hole () are restrained by a first cable guide () provided inside the vehicle and are wired to a power source connection part, while the end part of the pipe () inserted through the power-source-side through-hole () reaches as far as the position where the first cable guide () is provided. The pipe () is supported by a through-hole seal member () that has a pipe through-hole () through which the pipe () passes and that closes the power-source-side through-hole ().

A cooling apparatus for a vehicle electrical packaging unit that includes an inverter for a vehicle drive motor, a DC-DC converter for a vehicle control power source, and an electrical power converter for driving the electrical accessories, and cools them by heat exchange with cooling air. The cooling apparatus includes a first heat radiating plate for the inverter, a second heat radiating plate for the DC-DC converter, a third heat radiating plate for the electrical power converter, and connecting members that respectively connect the first heat radiating plate to the second heat radiating plate and the first heat radiating plate to the third heat radiating plate. Heat radiating fins of the first to third heat radiating plates are enclosed by the first heat radiating plate, second heat radiating plate, the third heat radiating plate, and the connecting members to form an air passage through which the cooling air passes.

Cooling apparatus for vehicle electrical packaging unit

In a power supply unit disposed below a floor behind a seat, battery modules are disposed in a lower position, and a DC/DC converter and a motor driving inverter are disposed side by side in a vehicle width direction above the battery modules. Thus, cooling air flowing from the front side to the rear side of a vehicle body is divided into upper and lower portions to cool in parallel the DC/DC converter and the motor driving inverter on the upper side and the battery modules on the lower side. Thus, it is possible to simplify a passage of the cooling air to reduce the size of the entire power supply unit, and improve mountability of the power supply unit on the vehicle body. Also, it is possible to apply low temperature cooling air, before heat exchange, to the battery module, the DC/DC converter, and the motor driving inverter.

Electrical device cooling structure in vehicle

A power cable holding structure for a vehicle in which compressor power cables having a small outer diameter are disposed in the gaps between the outer surface of motor power cables having a large outer diameter and the inner surface of a protective pipe. Also, a method of assembling a power cable assembly comprising the steps of: inserting the other end side of the power cables with first connectors attached into one end portion into the protective pipe; disposing the small diameter compressor power cables in the gaps between the outer surface of the large diameter power cables and the inner surface of the protective pipe; and after applying bending work to the protective pipe in this state, adjusting the lengths of the other end portions of the power cables and attaching second connectors.
