The invention provides a method for simple, rapid and inexpensive analysis of drugs such as nicotine and other drugs which are accumulated in biological samples of addictive drugger of tobacco, stimulant drug and the like. The method comprises the steps of introducing the biological sample into an injection needle, inserting the needle into an injector of a chromatograph and injecting a carrier into the needle to conduct chromatography treatment.

Simple analysis method of drugs

The present invention relates to a separating agent for solid-phase extraction which comprises core particles of a base material; a hydrophilic polymer layer formed on the surface of the particles; and a hydrophobic polymer layer formed on the surface of the hydrophilic polymer layer. The separating agent can be used in a cartridge or a column for solid-phase extraction and the latter can in turn be used in a variety of methods such as a method for concentrating a subject to be separated; a method for removing impurities; a method for solid-phase extraction of an environmental, medicinal and/or biological samples; and a method for pre-treating a protein component-containing sample.

A separation column for chromatography or a medium for solid phase extraction, which comprises a hollow capillary and a collected body packed in the hollow capillary and serving as a stationary phase, the collected body comprising long fibers having an adsorbing ability selective towards a target solute and arranged in the axial direction of the capillary, and a sample injection system which comprises the foregoing hollow capillary incorporated into a loop of a valve or a passage connecting two valves, the valve(s) being used as an injector for the chromatography. The use of the polymeric long fibers, which have chemical structures specially designed so that they can specifically interact with a target substance (a solute or an analyte) to be analyzed, permits the selective or preferential extraction and/or concentration of the solute.

An ovoglycoprotein has a molecular weight of 30,000 daltons which is determined by a matrix-assisted laser desorption ionization time-of-flight type mass spectrometer, an amino acid sequence of 15 residues from the N-terminal represented by Thr-Glu-Ser-Pro-Xaa-Ser-Ala-Pro-Leu-Val-Pro-Ala-Asp-Met-Asp (wherein Xaa represents a cysteine residue or an amino acid residue having a sugar chain linked thereto) (SEQ ID NO:1) and a sugar content of about 25% by weight and free of trypsin-inhibitory activity and a resolution agent for chromatography comprises a fixed phase which comprises a carrier and the foregoing ovoglycoprotein linked to the carrier. The agent for resolving optical isomers is not expensive, and is stable and highly resistant to deterioration by organic solvents, excellent in liquid-flow through properties, has a high sample-loading rate and permits efficient resolution of optical isomers of a chiral compound.
