Provided is a stator in which size increase in the radial direction is suppressed and accuracy of temperature detection is improved. The stator includes: a cylindrical stator core; a plurality of coil conductors each having a coil body located in a slot of the stator core and a conductor end protruding from the stator core; a plurality of connection wires extending in a circumferential direction of the stator core and connecting the conductor ends separated from each other in the circumferential direction; and a temperature sensor, wherein at least two of the connection wires have parts arranged with an interval therebetween in an axial direction of the stator core, and the temperature sensor is located in the interval and held between the connection wires on both sides in the axial direction.

In the electric rotating machine, a crank portion that is displaced in a radial direction of an armature iron core is provided in an apex portion of a coil end portion; a first oblique side that slants with respect to an axis-direction endface of the armature iron core connects a first coil conductor portion with the crank portion; a second oblique side that slants with respect to the axis-direction endface of the armature iron core connects a second coil conductor portion with the crank portion; at least one of the first oblique side and the second oblique side has an inflection point, before being connected with the crank portion, that functions as a base point of a bending portion that is bent toward a radially outside of the armature iron core.

Electric rotating machine

Two types of insulating members, i.e., end surface insulators and slot insulators are provided. On tooth portion sides of both side surfaces in the circumferential direction of tooth end surface covering portions of the end surface insulator, first cutouts recessed in the circumferential direction are provided so as to extend in the radial direction. A part axially upward of the first cutouts protrudes in the circumferential direction to form a first overhang portion, and the slot insulator is accommodated between the first overhang portions of two end surface insulators.

A stator includes an iron core cylindrical part, multiple teeth, and a coil. The iron core cylindrical part has multiple circular arc-shaped core back parts. The teeth radially inwardly protrude from an inner circumferential wall surface of the iron core cylindrical part. The coil is wound around each of the teeth. A first coil and a second coil are disposed so as to hold a temperature measuring element therebetween. The first coil has an outer surface provided with a gap made of a recess or a space, which is formed by skipping winding a coil wire. An insulating holder is provided with a bobbin portion and bus bar supporting portions, and the bus bar supporting portions have bus bar walls which electrically separate each of the bus bars, and step portions are formed, in a lamination direction of the bus bars, at the bus bar walls. Gap portions are formed, between the bus bars and the bus bar walls, in a longitudinal direction of the bus bars and in a lamination direction of the cores, at the step portion, and an insulating cap, which complements the gap portions from the outside and maintains the bus bars, is provided, in a state where the bus bars are installed to the bus bar walls.

Armature of electric motor

An annular conductor retaining device has a retention guide portion formed by blades arranged in a cylindrical shape with gaps therebetween. An annular conductor is inserted into two of the gaps across a plurality of the blades. The next annular conductor is inserted into the gaps to partially overlap the previously arranged annular conductor. This step is repeated so that the annular conductors are arranged in a spiral shape in the retention guide portion. The retention guide portion and the inner circumferential part of the core are fitted to each other, and the gaps and the slots of the core are made to coincide with each other. A pusher is inserted into the inner circumferential part of the retention guide portion so that the annular conductors are caught on the pusher, to move them in the axial direction into the slots of the core, and thus become the coils.

Method for manufacturing armature

Insulators are respectively disposed such that longitudinal directions of trunk portions are oriented in a radial direction of teeth, and so as to place bottom surfaces of the trunk portions alongside two axial end surfaces of the teeth, concentrated winding coils are configured by winding conductor wires so as to be wound in multiple layers around the teeth so as to pass through a concave space that is formed by the trunk portions and first and second flange portions at two axial ends of the teeth, the second flange portion is disposed on an end surface of a core back of a stator core, and a temperature detecting element is installed by being inserted into an element insertion aperture that is formed on the second flange portion so as to be able to detect a temperature of a coil end of the concentrated winding coils.

Rotary electric machine

A stator is assembled by stacking, in the axial direction, a plurality of magnetic steel sheets having tooth portions. The steel sheets include connected tooth steel sheets in which the inner-circumferential-side end portions of the tooth portions are connected via connection portions in an annular shape along the circumferential direction, and non-connected tooth steel sheets which are separated from each other with the tooth portions not connected to each other. The connected tooth steel sheets and the non-connected tooth steel sheets are joined to each other in the axial direction via swage portions provided in the tooth portions. The thickness of each connection portion is smaller than the thickness of the other part of each steel sheet.

A manufacturing method for a stator winding coil includes: a bulging portion forming step that forms a bulging portion on a conductor wire; a crank portion forming step that forms a crank portion on the central portion of the bulging portion; an oblique portion forming step that forms oblique portions on the conductor wire at two ends of the bulging portion; a rectilinear portion forming step that forms rectilinear portions on the conductor wire at opposite ends of the oblique portions from the bulging portion; and a circular arc forming step that forms the oblique portions into a circular arc shape after forming the rectilinear portions.
