This invention provides a PSA sheet with which degradation of the appearance after its application is efficiently prevented while showing uniform adhesive properties over the entire sheet with greater ease of application. The PSA sheet provided by this invention is an air-impermeable PSA sheet having an adhesive surface. The PSA sheet comprises a PSA layer forming the adhesive surface. In the adhesive surface, at least one groove is formed. The groove runs in a wavy shape in the adhesive surface.

Pressure-sensitive adhesive sheet

Disclosed is a heat-activated adhesive sheet which includes a heat-activated adhesive layer, and two release liners arranged so as to sandwich and protect the heat-activated adhesive layer. One of the two release liners is a release liner containing a polyolefinic film as a base material, and the other is a release liner containing a polyester film as a base material. This heat-activated adhesive sheet has a transfer heat-activated adhesive layer, can thereby have a small thickness, is unlikely to suffer from 'unintended separation', and is unlikely to cause lifting and delamination of release liners when the sheet is stored as a roll.

Heat-activated adhesive sheet

The double-sided pressure-sensitive adhesive tape or sheet is a double-sided pressure-sensitive adhesive tape or sheet containing a support having a pressure-sensitive adhesive layer on the both surfaces thereof, characterized in that the double-sided pressure-sensitive adhesive tape or sheet has a total thickness including the thickness of the support and the two pressure-sensitive adhesive layers formed on the both surfaces of the support of 0.003 mm or more and less than 0.03 mm and a breaking strength of from 2 to 26 MPa/10 mm-width. The support preferably has a thickness of from 0.002 to 0.012 mm. As the support, plastic films (especially, a polyethylene terephthalate film) are suitable. The double-sided pressure-sensitive adhesive tape or sheet may have a length of 5 m or more and have a roll-wound form.

Double-sided pressure-sensitive adhesive tape or sheet and process of producing the same

Disclosed are a pressure-sensitive adhesive composition comprising a reactive mixture of a relatively low molecular weight acrylic prepolymer containing highly reactive hydroxyl groups in the molecule thereof which is obtained by copolymerizing two alkyl acrylate monomers satisfying a specific relationship and, as a chain extender, a polyfunctional isocyanate mainly exhibiting bifunctionality; a pressure-sensitive adhesive composition comprising the above reactive mixture and a relatively high molecular weight polymer component; and pressure-sensitive adhesive sheets having a pressure-sensitive adhesive layer comprising those pressure-sensitive adhesive compositions. Because the molecular chain of the acrylic prepolymer is extended efficiently, the amount of an organic solvent required for viscosity adjustment can be decreased.
