A storage controller that performs control for storing in memory areas of a storage device, data that is grouped into redundant data in blocks each having a given data size. The storage controller includes a memory unit configured to store therein group information created by grouping performed such that logical addresses for a writing destination identified from a data writing request are correlated with the blocks; and a control unit configured to count in response to a data reading request, number of times of reading from a group including logical addresses for a reading destination identified from the reading request, based on the group information, and issues any one among a reading request that includes the logical addresses for the reading destination and a reading request that includes logical addresses for a memory destination of redundant data corresponding to data of the logical addresses for the reading destination.

A storage control device that controls a solid state drive group including two or more solid state drives sharing data storage includes a detector that detects a wear state of each of the solid state drives, a separation controller that separates a solid state drive having a wear value, which represents a wear state, exceeding a first threshold among the solid state drives, and an enlargement controller that, when detecting a solid state drive having a wear value, which represents a wear state, exceeding a second threshold less than the first threshold among the solid state drives in the solid state drive group, enlarges a difference in a wear value, which represents a wear state, between the solid state drive having the wear value exceeding the second threshold and a remainder of the solid state drives.

Storage control device and storage control method

A vehicle notification sound emitting apparatus is basically provided with a first sound emitting device, a second sound emitting device and a notification sound control device. The first sound emitting device emits a first intermittent notification sound inside a cabin interior of a vehicle. The second sound emitting device emits a second intermittent notification sound outside of the cabin interior of the vehicle. The notification sound control device operates the first and second sound emitting devices to separately emit the first and second intermittent notification sounds in at least a partially overlapping pattern in response to occurrence of a vehicle condition to convey a same type of vehicle information to both inside and outside of the cabin interior of the vehicle. The notification sound control device includes a cabin interior-exterior notification sound synchronizing section that is configured to synchronize the first and second intermittent notification sounds.

Vehicle notification sound emitting apparatus

A vehicle notification sound emitting apparatus is basically provided with a sound emitting device and a notification sound control device. The sound emitting device emits a movement notification sound to outside of a vehicle to inform a person in an area surrounding the vehicle that the vehicle is moving at a low speed. The notification sound control device operates the sound emitting device to selectively emit the movement notification sound. The notification sound control device includes a notification sound prohibiting section and a prohibition cancelling section. The notification sound prohibiting section prohibits an emission of the movement notification sound by the sound emitting device. The prohibition cancelling section cancels a notification sound emission prohibition imposed by the notification sound prohibiting section either upon a vehicle speed of the vehicle exceeding a prescribed vehicle speed or based on position information of the vehicle.

A vehicle notification sound emitting apparatus is basically provided with a sound emitting device and a notification sound control device. The sound emitting device emits a starting movement notification sound to outside of a vehicle to inform a person in an outside area surrounding the vehicle that the vehicle will transition from a stopped state to a moving state, and emits a moving notification sound to outside of the vehicle to inform a person in the outside area surrounding the vehicle that the vehicle is moving. The notification sound control device operates the sound emitting device to selectively emit the starting movement notification sound. The notification sound control device setting the movement notification sound of the sound emitting device to a frequency in a range of 1.5 kHz to 6 kHz.

A start timing of the forward advancement notification sound is set in response to both a forward movement shift operation having been performed and an additional start movement preparation operation of the vehicle having been performed. A start timing of the reverse movement notification sound is set to be emitted immediately in response to the reverse movement shift operation having been performed.

A vehicle notification sound emitting apparatus is basically provided with a sound emitting device and a notification sound control device. The sound emitting device is configured to emit a movement notification sound to outside of a vehicle to inform a person in an area surrounding the vehicle that the vehicle will move. The notification sound control device is configured to operate the sound emitting device to emit a movement notification during a period from when a vehicle speed becomes equal to or smaller than a prescribed value until a prescribed amount of time has elapsed in a situation where the vehicle speed becomes equal to or smaller than the prescribed value while the forward movement notification sound is being emitted.

An electrical load drive control apparatus includes: a plurality of drive units, each of which drives one of a plurality of electrical loads; an instruction unit that issues a drive switch instruction to switch drive among the plurality of electrical loads; a detection unit that detects a non-operating state of the plurality of electrical loads; and a control unit that controls the plurality of drive units based upon the drive switch instruction issued by the instruction unit and results of a detection by the detection unit. And the control unit controls the plurality of drive units so as to set all of the plurality of electrical loads in a non-operating state if an instruction to switch drive among the plurality of electrical loads is issued by the instruction unit, and controls the plurality of drive units so as to switch drive to an electrical load selected through the drive switch instruction after verifying that the plurality of electrical loads are all set in a non-operating state based upon the results of the detection by the detection unit.

Electrical load drive control apparatus and electrical load drive control method

An electric motor control unit mounted in an automotive vehicle having a motor that is variable in its rotational speed. A temperature sensing element is arranged to contact a busbar so that relays permit switching operation in response to detection of abnormal heat generation. This controls an electrical power supply to the motor to decrease the rotational speed of the motor without complete stopping of the motor. The rotational speed of the motor returns to a normal speed from the decreased speed by switching operation of the relays with diminishing of the abnormal heat generation.

Electric motor control unit

An electrical junction box comprises a junction box body and a cover which houses and holds the junction box body. A guide rail groove is provided on any one of an inner surface of the cover and an outer surface of the junction box body, and a guide rail guided by the guide rail groove is provided on the other thereof. Further, the junction box body is held in the cover at a slant with respect to the guide rail and the guide rail groove.

Electrical junction box

Two motor fans are driven by two 4-pole direct current motors, respectively. Rotational speed of the two motors is controlled in three stages, namely low speed, intermediate speed and high speed. Specifically, at the time of low speed operation the two motors are connected in series with four poles, at the time of intermediate speed operation the two motors are connected in parallel with three poles, and at the time of high speed operation the two motors are connected in parallel with four poles.

Motor fan control apparatus

An improvement on a vehicle body is provided which includes bumper brackets joining a bumper reinforcement to ends of side members extending longitudinally of the vehicle body. Each of the bumper brackets has a boss. The boss has formed therein a vertical hole extending vertically of the vehicle body and establishes a connection of the bumper reinforcement and a corresponding one of the side members through a bolt which is fitted within the vertical hole of the boss so as to allow the bumper bracket to rotate inwardly of the vehicle body within a given angular range when the impact acts on the bumper bracket upon occurrence of a font-end collision for ensuring transmission of axial collapsing pressure arising from the impact to the side members.

A MOSFET integrated circuit device has a main MOSFET, a mirror MOSFET, a current sensing resistor, a reference voltage source, a comparator for detecting an overcurrent condition by comparing a potential at the source of the mirror MOSFET with a reference potential of the reference voltage source, and a control circuit section for turning off the main MOSFET in case of the overcurrent condition. The device further comprises a group of pads allowing a test of the overcurrent detecting function by application of a test current much lower than an overcurrent. The pad group comprises a first pad for measuring the potential at the source of the mirror MOSFET, a second pad for measuring the reference potential and a third pad for detecting a change in the output of the comparator.
