A dustproof apparatus according to an embodiment of the present technology includes a base portion and a cover portion. The base portion includes a connection portion to be connected to an external attachment portion and a holding portion that holds an image display apparatus. The cover portion includes an inlet, a filter portion provided at the inlet, and an outlet that discharges air sucked in from the inlet, the cover portion being attached to the base portion such that the cover portion covers the image display apparatus held by the holding portion.

An apparatus for supplying a component carrier in the form of a tape is provided. The component carrier has a number of cavities formed on one surface thereof for containing components. A pair of spaced first and second guide plates that function to guide one surface of the component carrier. A movable guide plate is disposed between the first and second guide plates so that it can move back and forth between a first position adjacent to the first guide plate for defining a component pickup station and a second position adjacent to the second guide plate. The movable guide plate has an extension which extends along at least one longitudinal edge of the component carrier and opposes the one surface of the component carrier for preventing movement thereof when the movable guide plate takes the first position.

Component supply system

An apparatusfor supplying a component carrier in the form of a tape is provided. The component carrierhas a number of cavitiesformed on one surface thereof for containing components. A pair of spaced first and second guide platesandguide one surface of the component carrier. A movable guide plateis disposed between the first and second guide plates so that it can move back and forth between a first position adjacent to the first guide plate for defining a component pickup stationand a second position adjacent to said second guide plate. The movable guide plate has an extensionwhich extends along at least one longitudinal edge of the component carrier and opposes to said one surface of said component carrier for preventing movement thereof when the movable guide plate takes the first position.

This invention provides an electronic component sucking method in which the movement of a component supply table (15) can be increased without increasing tact time, thereby improving the mounting efficiency of electronic components (2, 4). According to this invention, the movement disabled period of the component supply table (15) is set on the basis of the height of an electronic component (2, 4) in order that the interlock time for a low electronic component (4) can be set to be shorter and the movement enabled period of the component supply table (15) can be set to be longer. Therefore, a low electronic component (4) can have a shorter tact time, thereby improving the overall mounting efficiency of electronic components.
