Provided is an RFID tag, wherein a communication distance of several centimeter or more can be secured and the cost of which can be reduced in comparison to conventional on-chip antennas, even when being compact in size (square shaped with a side of 1.9 to 13 mm). The RFID tag () comprises an antenna (), an IC chip () connected to the antenna (), and a sealing material () that seals the IC chip () and the antenna (). The antenna () is a coil antenna or a loop antenna, and the resonance frequency (f) of an electric circuit constituted by the inductance (L) of the antenna () and the capacitance (C) of the IC chip () is equal to the operation frequency of the IC chip (), or in the vicinity thereof.

There is provided an electronic device manufacturing method capable of manufacturing a device having a preferable communication characteristic at a low cost with a high productivity. The manufacturing method is for manufacturing an electronic device including a plurality of IC chips, each having external electrodes formed on a pair of opposing surfaces. Oneof the electrodes is arranged on an antenna circuitin a transmission/reception antenna having a slit. Furthermore, a bridging plateis arranged for separately and electrically connecting the other external electrodeto a predetermined position of the corresponding antenna circuit. The method is characterized in that by positioning at least one of the IC chipswith the predetermined position on the corresponding antenna circuitto be mounted, it is possible to arrange the retraining IC chipsat the predetermined positions on the antenna circuitall at once.

Manufacturing method for electronic device having IC chip and antenna electrically connected by bridging plate

A tubular container enabling individual identification, suitable to store semen of a domestic animal or a small amount of an organism individual sample and to manage history information, excellent in reliability, workability, and communication characteristics, and incorporating an IC tag. The tubular container is composed of a resin tubular container, a sealing cap, an IC tag embedded in the sealing cap and composed of an IC chip and a first transmitting/receiving antenna, and a second transmitting/receiving antenna fixed to the tubular container.

Tubular container enabling individual identification

To provide a method of producing an electronic apparatus that is inexpensive, contributes to high productivity, and can achieve good communication characteristics. A method of producing an electronic apparatus composed of an IC chip () having an external electrode formed on each of a set of opposing surfaces of the IC chip; an antenna circuit () having a slit formed in it; and a short circuit plate () for electrically connecting the IC chip () and the antenna circuit (). In the method, a disc-like conveyor () has hands () on its outer periphery, and each hand () is capable of holding a single IC chip (). The hands () hold IC chips () individually, and the IC chips () are conveyed by rotation of the disc-like conveyor (). As a result, a plurality of IC chips () whose maximum number is equal to the number of the hands () can be simultaneously conveyed.

Method of producing electronic apparatus

A dual-polarization planar antenna includes: a first feeding substrate having a plurality of first radiation elements and a first feeding line; a first dielectric member; a first ground conductor having a plurality of slots; a second dielectric member; a second feeding substrate having a plurality of second radiation elements and a second feeding line; a third dielectric member; and a second ground conductor. The first feeding substrate, the first dielectric member, the first ground conductor, the second dielectric member, the second feeding substrate, the third dielectric member, and the second ground conductor are successively superposed in this order. The first feeding substrate, the first ground conductor, and the second feeding substrate are arranged so that the slots, the first radiation elements, and the second radiation elements are overlapped with one another at the same positions. The first and the second feeding substrates are arranged so that the first radiation elements are excited by the first feeding line in a first excitation direction while the second radiation elements are excited by the second feeding line in a second excitation direction perpendicular to the first excitation direction.

Dual-polarization planar antenna

A plane antenna with high gain and antenna efficiency. The antenna includes an antenna unit comprising: a first dielectric body; a first grounding conductor body provided on a lower side of the first dielectric body; a current supply line in a form of a strip line provided on an upper side of the first dielectric body; a patch shaped radiative element provided on the upper side of the first dielectric body at an end of the current supply line; a second dielectric body formed on the upper side of the first dielectric body over the radiative element and the current supply line; and a second grounding conductor body provided on the upper side of the second dielectric body, which has a slot at a position located directly above the radiative element; wherein the radiative elements and the slots of the plane antenna are arranged in a planar array with a constant interval in two orthogonal directions, where the constant interval has a value equal to 0.72 to 0.93 or more preferably 0.85 to 0.93 times a wavelength corresponding to a central frequency of a frequency band for waves to be used.

Plane antenna with high gain and antenna efficiency

A stripline patch antenna having a slot plate which is capable of obtaining higher antenna gain, while reducing the loss due to the feed lines. The antenna includes at least one radiating element for transmitting and receiving radio waves; a feed line for transmitting signals to and from the radiating element; a dielectric substrate for supporting the radiating element means and the feed line means; a grounding conductor located below the dielectric substrate; and a slot plate located above the dielectric substrate, having a plurality of slots more numerous than the radiating element. The triplate substrate can be adapted to this antenna. A plurality of antenna units so constructed can be arranged in array such that at least one of the slots of each antenna unit is shared with a neighboring antenna unit.
