A rolling bearing includes: an inner ring; an outer ring; a plurality of rolling elements provided between an inner ring raceway and an outer ring raceway; and a cage that holds the rolling elements at intervals in a circumferential direction. The cage includes an annular portion provided in a first axial direction with respect to the rolling elements, and a plurality of cage bars provided to extend in a second axial direction from the annular portion. The annular portion includes a contact surface that makes sliding contact with a shoulder portion. The cage bars each include a first projecting portion and a second projecting portion. The second projecting portion covers a part of the inner ring raceway on a side of the shoulder portion.

Rolling bearing

A rolling bearing includes an inner ring, an outer ring, a plurality of balls, and a cage that holds the balls. The cage includes an annular portion and a plurality of cage bars. Each of the balls is received a pocket between each pair of cage bars that is adjacent in the circumferential direction. A portion of the pocket in a second axial direction opens with a dimension that is smaller than a diameter of the balls. The cage bar includes a flat surface that is continuous with an inner peripheral surface of the annular portion, and an inclined surface that extends away from the inner ring toward the second axial direction from the flat surface.

An intake camshaft deviceincludes an intake camshaft, a first rolling bearing and a second rolling bearing for rotatably supporting both end parts of the intake camshaft, and a first sliding bearing and a second sliding bearing for rotatably supporting the intake camshaft between the first and second rolling bearings. The first rolling bearing is arranged in a same plane as a rotation plane of a sprocket for an intake cam. In other words, the first rolling bearing is positioned in a plane which is overlapped with a plurality of teeth of the sprocket for the intake cam, and perpendicular to a center axis. The first sliding bearing is disposed adjacent to the first rolling bearing backward in an axial direction.

Camshaft device

A conical roller cage that implements a conical roller bearing that is able to suppress torque and that is able to smoothly supply lubricant to a raceway surface includes: a small-diameter annular portion, a large-diameter annular portion having a bore diameter larger than a bore diameter of the small-diameter annular portion, pillar portions that couple the small-diameter annular portion to the large-diameter annular portion and that are located at intervals from each other in a circumferential direction, roller partition wall portions each radially extending from a radial end face of a corresponding one of the pillar portions, and canopy portions each protruding from a radial end portion of a corresponding one the roller partition wall portions, at an opposite side to a side of the pillar portion, toward both sides in the circumferential direction.

Conical roller cage

An outer ring has a tapered tubular portion having a tapered raceway surface, a small diameter side extension portion that extends radially outward from a small diameter side edge of the tapered tubular portion, and a large diameter side extension portion that extends from a large diameter side edge of the tapered tubular portion in a direction away from the axis of the outer ring. The small diameter side extension portion and the large diameter side extension portion are larger in thickness than the tapered tubular portion.
