A detection method, an inspection method, a detection apparatus, and an inspection apparatus capable of preventing an error in a luminance unevenness correction and thereby accurately inspecting an object to be inspected are provided. A detection method according to the present disclosure includes illuminating an object to be inspected by using illumination light including pulsed light, acquiring image data of the object to be inspected by concentrating light from the object to be inspected illuminated by the illumination light and detecting the concentrated light by an inspection detector, acquiring image data of a luminance distribution of the illumination light, the luminance distribution being detected by illuminating a correction detector by using part of the illumination light, and detecting inspection image data by correcting the image data of the object to be inspected based on the image data of the luminance distribution.

The field of view of an objective lens is divided into two areas, and a transmission image of a photomask and a composite image obtained by optically synthesizing a transmission image and a reflection image of the photomask are picked up in parallel. A drop image generated at an edge portion of a pattern portion in the composite image is deleted by limiter processing or masking processing, or is deleted by using primary-differentiated signals of a composite image signal and a transmission image signal.

A facsimile device includes local area network communication controlling means for exchanging data between the facsimile device and the terminal of a correspondence partner through a local area network connected to an internet. An image information communication apparatus notifies a remote terminal that an optical character reading process is applicable to image data to be transmitted. The optical character reading process is applied to convert raster image data corresponding to characters into predetermined character code data. When a planned area of the second body is manipulated by the first body, a contact of the second body with the first body is detected, and an operating part Po placed at a position corresponding to the planned area is detected. Thereafter, the operating part Po of which an external shape is virtually changed by the manipulation of the first body is displayed according to the configuration and function of the operating part Po. Accordingly, an operator can actually feel a state that the external shape of the commodity is changed when the operator virtually manipulates the commodity, without making the commodity on an experimental basis.
