There are provided a solution applying portion disposed opposite to the outer surface of the recording rotational drum such that sliding on the outer surface of the drum is permitted and arranged to apply cleaning solution to the outer surface of the drum; and a scraping portion disposed at a position more forward than the solution applying portion in a direction in which the drum is rotated such that sliding on the outer surface of the drum is permitted and arranged to scrape the applied cleaning solution off the outer surface of the drum so that dust X is removed from the surface of the drum.
