A casing of a charger includes a DC port and a plurality of AC ports. The charger includes a switching device configured to connect one of the AC ports selectively to a power conversion circuit. The power conversion circuit is configured to convert, into direct current electric power, alternating current electric power input from the AC port connected by the switching device, and output the direct current electric power to the DC port.

Charger

A power conversion device configured to execute power conversion between a vehicle and an external power supply or an external load includes a DC connector, a charging port, a power supply port, a bidirectional power conversion circuit, a switching circuit configured to execute switching to choose whether to electrically connect the power conversion circuit and the charging port or electrically connect the power conversion circuit and the power supply port, and a control circuit configured to control the power conversion circuit and the switching circuit to selectively execute a charging operation or a power supply operation.

Power conversion device and power transfer system

A vehicle includes: an inner panel; a side surface portion that defines a vehicle cabin; and a lock release mechanism disposed outside the vehicle cabin with the inner panel interposed between the lock release mechanism and the vehicle cabin, the lock release mechanism configured to release locking of a lock device provided at a charging port. The side surface portion has an opening, the inner panel has a hole, and the lock release mechanism is provided so as to be operable from an interior of the vehicle cabin through the opening and the hole.

Vehicle

It is aimed to provide a charging inlet easily mountable on a body of a vehicle. A charging inlet is fixed to a vehicle body () and includes a housing main body () having a plurality of terminals accommodated inside, a mounting plate provided on an outer peripheral surface of the housing main body and arranged on an inner surface side of the vehicle body (), bolts () inserted into first through holes formed in the mounting plate and second through holes formed in the vehicle body (), and nuts () provided on an outer surface side of the vehicle body () and threadably engaged with the bolts ().

Charging inlet

A nonaqueous electrolyte secondary battery is a battery system for an electric vehicle which prevents high rate deterioration. An integrated evaluation value which is a deterioration index value of high rate deterioration is subjected to correction processing reflecting a recovery behavior of the high rate deterioration during charging/discharging deactivation in a battery deactivation period. The correction processing is executed according to a relaxation coefficient indicating the degree of relaxation of deviation of an ion concentration each time a given time elapses when the battery deactivation period ends. The relaxation coefficient is set variably such that, when a time length of the battery deactivation period is short, the degree of relaxation of deviation of the ion concentration for the given time becomes greater than that when the time length is long.

Battery system for electric vehicle for limiting battery deterioration

An evaluation value is calculated based on a history of currents in order to quantitatively evaluate unevenness of an ion concentration in a non-aqueous electrolyte of a secondary battery. An integrated evaluation value for each of the discharging side and the charging side are calculated. When the integrated evaluation value exceeds a positive threshold value, discharging of the secondary battery is restricted, and when the integrated evaluation value exceeds a negative threshold value, charging of the secondary battery is restricted.

Battery system of electrically powered vehicle

An electric vehicle includes: a wheel drive motor; an inverter that supplies electric power to the motor; a pump that delivers refrigerant to the motor and the inverter; and a controller that controls the pump. When a main switch of the vehicle is at an ON position, the controller limits the pump output at or below a predetermined pump output upper limit value, and, when the main switch is switched to an OFF position while travelling, the controller drives the pump at an output higher than the pump output upper limit value irrespective of the pump output upper limit value.

Electric vehicle and control method for electric vehicle

An electric vehicle includes: an electric motor; an inverter that supplies electric power to the electric motor; and a cooling system that cools at least one of the electric motor and the inverter, the cooling system having: a main coolant passage configured to circulate a coolant through a radiator and at least one of the electric motor and the inverter; a bypass coolant passage, connected to the main coolant passage, that bypasses at least one of the electric motor and the inverter; and a controller configured to switch from the main coolant passage to the bypass coolant passage when a main switch of the vehicle provided at a driver's seat is turned off while the electric vehicle is travelling, and to switch from the bypass coolant passage to the main coolant passage when the main switch is then turned on.

Electric vehicle

An electric vehicle includes a wheel-driving motor, a motor inverter that supplies electric power to the wheel-driving motor, a pump that delivers a cooling medium to at least one of the motor inverter and the motor, a capacitor that stores a counter electromotive force generated by the pump, and a pump inverter that supplies electric power to the pump to drives the pump. When a vehicle controller receives a signal indicating a collision of the vehicle, the vehicle controller stops a supply of electric power from the pump inverter to the pump and connects the pump inverter to the capacitor. The pump inverter converts AC power generated by the counter electromotive force of the pump into DC power to store the DC power in the capacitor.
